I came here on a Sunday for a girls night out. Even though we waited over an hour for our table of three, it wasn't too bad when we were able to grab some wine across the street. Since it was pretty late by the time we were seated, we went all out ordering the small Island Seafood Restaurant ($42.95), half order Anchor Special ($28.00), Crab Cake Appetizer ($14.95), half order Garlic Bread ($6.50) and a bottle of white wine.

It was my favorite seafood restaurant. The price was expensive however, the quality and quantity of the food was worth it. But now the $65 per person special course contains 30% less food than before. The live shrimp is no longer served, and the number of food combos has lowered. For example, there used to be 1 lobster per 2 people, but now there is 1 lobster in a table of 4. Most combos same as well. The service was the only plus. It was a disappointing experience but this place is my favorite seafood restaurant.

Quality of this place has gone down over the years. They got our order mixed up and the sushi bowl I got barely had any actual sushi. It was 95% veges and barely any fish. Miso soup is overly salty too.

Intended audience: Koreans who are looking for a good sashimi place (hwe jib). A bit over priced but not out of the norm. Interior bad, the dineware outdated. Food is OK in terms of quantity and variety, but some of their side dishes are not great. Why do they give us a plate of fried sweet potatoes when we want some more genuine korean seafood sides. I think most of all the atmosphere is kind of off with its price point. They should invest.

Korean style sashimi at its best. Lots and lots and lots of food. And very fresh. Love this place, but I wish they included spicy seafood soup at the end like many other Korean places do.

We enjoy eating out. Last night we arrived in this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We passed a lovely evening there with delicious dishes and a nice stuff and a talented chef. We put this restaurant in our list and we will no doubt go again very soon. Highly recommended.

Waiting for a fish place in westchester for years. Malibu Fish in El Segundo is terrific but traffic on Sepulveda is always a cramp!! Fishbonz in Torrance is my more recent fav but very far away!! Tonight we had Cajun Salmon and lemon pepper chicken with rice and salad and zucchini! $8.99!! What a wonderful meal deal!! A steal!! Will be back often! TY

Two of us came here for dinner and left disappointed. The price was around the same as Wassada but the amount of sashimi was a lot less and their side dishes in their course was a bit poor in quality and quantity. We ended up spending around $200 (!!!!!) between the two of us and left the restaurant hungry. Needless to say we left and had to grab a bite somewhere to fill up. This was a sad day :(

Korean style sashimi/seafood restaurant. The place had good sea urchins and others. The price was reasonable and the service was good.

The food is great. The portions are extra large. It's worth the price but it's still affordable. The service is decent and there is parking. The diner has 4 TVs and they sell beer. It's a really clean place.

Awesome and flavorful food, I like the ambience the place has, and the employees were welcoming. I will surely come back again.

The amount of food that you get is just crazy, the food just keeps coming out. Everything from the sweet live shrimp to the live squid (not for the faint of heart) is amazingly fresh. I've been here couple times and everytime I leave so full and so satisfied. If you love sea food, this place is a must!

This place has been here for over 15+ years, and has still been in business, which speaks to how good they are. The reviews here don't do this place justice. First off, this is a KOREAN sashimi place, and not a Japanese sashimi place, so please have your expectations aligned correctly. Korean sashimi generally tends to be more crunchy and chewy, in comparison to the smooth and soft texture of Japanese sashimi. If you haven't had it before, it's not for everyone since it isn't common to have Korean sashimi. Secondly, service here was great. There is a buzzer at the side of the table, if you need to call your server. So if they're not coming around, just buzz them. When we were here, we ordered the small sashimi combo (for three, and we couldn't finish). There was an immense amount of food. Our favorites were the anago and abalone sashimi, which isn't too common for Japanese sashimi (I've only been able to have those in Japanese cruising at omakase places that are like 2-3 hundred, per person in the states). Be prepared for like 5-6 courses, as the food keeps coming. The soup that they cook the fish (that is also served as sashimi) comes last, so be sure to pace yourself! Also, they have live octopus! The seafood here is definitely fresh!
