Le Peer Hotel is physically a lovely boutique hotel. Nice rooms, on site amenities, and location. But bring your white noise machine. Really. Every morning at 630am, a full construction crew showed up to work on the new hotel going up next door. By loud, I mean hammering, banging, dropping rebarb, the horn of a giant crane, and the yelling of the construction crew to/at each other. This went on until about 4/430pm. At night, the frequent sound of sirens added to the noise since...
Out of a bunch of items on the menu. Service was fine. Took host about 5 minutes to greet us, guessing she was in the dining room, other staff walked by us though without greeting. Had a better experience last time we were there.
Food superb, ambiance beautiful, service cheerful but a little slow. As has been our previous experience, valet parking is exorbitantly expensive and unacceptably slow. Given the 30 minute wait for our car, on a night where there was literally NO TRAFFIC waiting to enter ( that is, no reason at all for the slow valet service) the parking SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPED OR SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCED but was not. THIS DEFINITELY MAKES US LESS LIKELY TO DINE HERE AGAIN.
