Man I use to like this place until they tried to kill me yesterday. I usually get a soy milk substitution because I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to tree nuts. Some “smart” employee thought it would be safe to just switch out the soy with almond milk and not update the order or notify me the customer. So I leave with my drink that poison for me and when I begin to have an allergic reaction and call the company, they completely disregard any concerns I have and lie to me saying they updated the order. I saw the update nowhere. They didn’t even offer me a refund or credit. Be careful here they’re not safe and don’t understand people who have food allergies, they won’t notify you of any changes to your order and don’t care about their customers.Look at my receipt photo. It doesn’t say any substitutions were made.

Bobatime Westwood (UCLA) is a go-to spot for boba lovers. During my recent visit, I ordered their house milk tea and pistachio frappe, both of which were delightful! The house milk tea offered a comforting blend of smooth texture and sweetness, perfect for a refreshing sip. The pistachio frappe surprised me with its creaminess and nutty burst. I usually have soy milk as a milk substitute for my frappe, but this time I tried almond milk, and it was still good. While Bobatime's seating may be limited, the cozy atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for waiting for my drinks. The staffs were both friendly and fast. Their mobile app is developing, but pretty good to use; you can order ahead and collect stamps. Overall, if you're in Westwood and craving a delicious drink to take on-the-go, Bobatime is worth a visit. I'm already looking forward to trying other flavors soon!

Probably one of the best It's Boba Times I have been to. Small but cozy! The boba has a good amount of chew and flavor.

We came here for a nice afternoon drink. I ordered a mango slush with boba, regular size. There were a couple orders ahead of us, but there are a lot of seats inside available for us to wait. It's very small inside, but they use the space wisely. I liked the community bulletin board. My mango slush was tasty and refreshing, the boba had a good bite to it. It was a pretty nice boba spot.

Won't return. Ordered through the app. A jasmine milk tea with boba, oat milk, 25% sweet. The drink tasted 100% sweet and wouldn't be surprised if it was dairy milk. aka, there is the illusion of customization but they actually just point pre made drinks. Don't offer customization if you can't actually customize. And our service was bad as well. We walked in and could see our drinks behind the counter. Went to stand by the pickup area. The worker dropped someone else's drink off at the pick up area and didn't even make eye contact with us, despite the fact that we had clearly just entered and walked to the pick up area. Will have to stick to boba in Sawtelle.

Got the Galaxy iced tea which was a fun and fruity drink for the hot weather when I went in October! The star jelly was good and I liked that I had the ability to adjust sweetness. Overall a nice spot. Seems like the place to be for teens and college kids in the area.

Helpful staff and convenient to UCLA. Got 3 amazing looking bobas quickly! When one of our party dropped her boba they kindly offered to remake it for her. They take care of customers well!

I got the taro tea with soy milk. Love how many non dairy milks they offer! Ordered half sweet, which was perfect (or maybe even still a tiny bit too sweet). It's a small place so best for grabbing boba to go rather than planning to hang inside. The boba was out within 5 or so minutes, and the employees were super nice and patient with questions. I'd come back! Disclosure: I'm not a boba expert. I hardly ever get boba. So I can't say how it compares to traditional boba or how quality the tea was.

About a year ago my wife and had our first boba tea experience here and now every time we're in LA we come back here to get more. Not only is it consistently good tea, the price is good and they actually give you enough boba to last you the entire drink.

BEST BOBA IN LOS ANGELES! I have treid boba shops all around the city, and by far, Boba Time has been the best. I have tried almost all the flavors, and all the flavors I have tried have been phenomenal. My personal favorite is the Lavender Milk Tea, it is smooth and creamy. The lavender flavor adds such a nice touch to it. I highly recommend Boba Time!Vegetarian options: I believe bubble tea is vegeratrion.Parking: Street parking is avalible in westwood village.Kid-friendliness: If your kid likes bubble tea, then it is kid-friendly.

Would never come back to this chain. Drinks are not very customizable and they do not taste good at all. Most are premixed drinks. Very slow service.
