ixlb is short for I love Xiao Long Bao. Seriously good food at very affordable prices, makes this place standout in West LA. Stop reading the reviews and go there already - you will not be disappointed :)

The westside needs a few options for Dim Sum, because heading out to Monterey Park is a trek, esp if that's all you're doing out there. Unfortunately... this wasn't it for me. Most of their offerings were on the bland side. I was super excited to get some fresh XLB, and they had both dry and chewy exteriors with no soup. Shumai were flavorless. Maybe it was an off day, I plan on going back and updating my review. I really want this place to be good and succeed!

Tasteless food and chocked by all plastic containers used and not recycled. Felt guilty eating there with that plastic waste .

Prices are really good especially for university students. Everything tastes freshly made and good flavors

Great quality food. I was surprised at how many vegetarian options there were. I had the spring rolls, veggie buns and chow mein. The food is fresh and made to order. All good. Price of food is affordable. Will visit again!

Solid dim sums close to UCLA! This is my first time seeing fried red oil wontons and they blew my mind! Each wonton comes with generous amount of shrimp in it and they're so juicy they squirted when I bit into them! The outside is thin and crispy, and the red ou drizzled on top is flavorful and aromatic. The chive dumplings are solid too. The soup dumplings however disappoint. Their skin is too thick and lack chewiness. Also it's a red flag that they come in tin foil cups. The service is ok and the ambiance is honestly bad because they're all outdoor seating right next to the roadside without any decoration. I think the items are slightly overpriced considering that they all come in plastic containers and disposable utensils and packet dressing.

Good food. Fast service. Delicious. They have an outdoor patio which is a great place to eat with my dog.

My go tos: -har gow -shrimp wonton w/ chili oil (steamed or fried) Honestly their menu is really good and hits the basic eats of dimsum. This place is perfect for a good 30 min break (not during regular lunch hours lol). Parking is plentiful in Westwood, but during peak hours, it can be hard to find. For the price, location, and quality of food, I go back every time! I would definitely recommend and try the har gow and shrimp wontons!!!!!

ixlb is amazing. Food is always on point (some of the best dimsum I've had, and it's pretty affordable as well.

I'm so glad this place opened up near campus! Very chill atmosphere and easy to order yourself on the screens inside. Yes the dim sum is not on par with some of the greats but it is a reasonable price and the dumplings are pretty sizeable! Definitely a reliable lunch place and a safe place to bring a friend if they haven' t had this style of food before! The workers speak mandarin too so that's a plus.

We tried the bento boxes and they were not good! Food tastes old, rice is hard, tofu has a sticky smell and tastes yucky, what supposed to be Taiwanese sausages is just a piece of marinated pork, and everything is luke warm. They probably made this way ahead of time and just warmed it up before serving. Gave me a stomach ache after eating. Don't order this!

This was my first time here. A friend had ordered delivery a week ago and told me about this new spot in Westwood . REALLY efficient...walked in and ordered and paid from a screen. There is a tiny patio in front to dine at but this really is more of a to go/pickup dining spot. Every item was very authentic tasting and there was so much shrimp in the wontons ....really excited to order again!
