J&J Chinese Restaurant

This place is great. I'm from LA but whenever I'm in LA, I have to stop by here at least once. I always get the dry fried chicken and this time I ordered the Mongolian beef. The service is great and they never fail to satisfy me.

Our family eats here time to time since the new owners took over. They are very friendly and the food's great!The place is great, is straight forward. Kind of like those spots you loved growing up as a kid.A lot of good vegetable dishes. Next time I want to try the minced greens and bamboo soup.Our fam also went there for Father's Day. The beef spare ribs were delicious. We all liked the moo goo gai pan.

No exaggeration, some of the best Chinese food in Los Angeles! Friendly staff, very quick service, reasonable prices, and huge portions. And they even deliver!! My faves are the Wei Wei fried rice, string bean beef, and honey walnut shrimp. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Go here!

First time visiting this restaurant on February 29, 2016. Clean decor. Had a delicious spicy chicken lunch plate, includes salad and soup. My friend had the tomato beef plate. Cooked-to-order and hot. A much better value than the restaurant at the corner 4 doors down. Will visit again.

We ordered from Seamless tonight where the reviews are pretty great. We ordered egg fried rice, egg rolls, Szechuan broccoli (extra spicy), and chow mein. This was by far THE WORST takeout we've ever had, and I am confused AF because other reviews are decent. First of all, the fried rice was cold. The restaurant is 10 min from me, but I am willing to accept that this is the fault of the delivery driver. Sure. The egg rolls were edible, but they're egg rolls and it's hard to mess those up. The chow mein and broccoli were a different story. The broccoli, which I mentioned was ordered extra spicy, was approximately 8 pieces of soggybroccoli smothered, and I mean SMOTHERED, in the saddest excuse for Szechuan sauce I've ever experienced. Not only was it gross (like weird chicken wing sauce mixed with soy sauce mixed with vinegar?), but there was so much of it that it leaked out of its container and got EVERYWHERE. The chow mein was so old and dry that I'm convinced it lived under a heat lamp all day. Needless to say, we threw away $30 worth of food tonight. When called to request a refund, they refused and said there was nothing wrong with the food. Do yourself a favor and don't order from here. Unless you really like bad 3 day old cheap food court food.
