The service this evening was just hopeless. We waited well over an hour for our main meal. After about 40 mins we were told it would be 10-15 minutes. 35 mins later 3 meals were served. 5 mins later another 2 meals arrived, leaving one of our party without a meal and all of us without rice.
Went inside to complain and there were 5-6 staff behind the counter doing very little. The wait staff seemed to be in a daze while the Kitchen seemed to be in chaos. - 5-10 mins later the rice and final real arrived.
While we waited and waited, many people arrived and left with takeaways.they were prioritising takeaway while leaving restaurant customers to wait. Avoid on Saturdays!

Beware of delivery!!! They do not seal their delivery bags. Unlike every other restaurant from which we’ve ordered. I don’t about you, but I don’t want strangers having access to my food. Don’t know why they don’t seal their bags, but yuck!!!!

Every time I have the lunch buffet, I’m reminded of how much I like Indian food. Everything is so good, especially the chicken curry and tandoori chicken. Service was impeccable. Will be returning again!

Universal Experiences

Tucked along Wilshire Boulevard, Jaipur Cuisine of India is a small but welcoming restaurant that truly feels like a neighborhood favorite. Known for its lunch buffet, this spot combines authentic Indian flavors with a warm, family-oriented atmosphere that keeps regulars coming back.

The buffet, priced at a very reasonable $20 + tax on weekends (and $18 + tax on weekdays), offers a satisfying variety. Standout dishes include the lamb curry, which is rich and deeply aromatic, and the chicken masala, tender and flavorful with just the right balance of spice and creaminess. A refreshing salad selection helps balance the meal, while fresh naan bread is served hot to the table — fluffy, soft, and the perfect complement to the curries.

Not every item was flawless. The samosas on my visit lacked crispness and tasted as if they had been reheated rather than freshly fried. They weren’t bad, but they didn’t have the crunch that makes a great samosa memorable. That said, this seemed to be a rare miss, as the rest of the spread was flavorful, fresh, and consistently enjoyable.

What makes Jaipur stand out, however, is more than just the food. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, personally greeting several tables with warmth and genuine conversation. It’s clear this is a place with many repeat customers and families who feel at home here. The waiter was also attentive and polite, making sure plates were cleared promptly and naan arrived fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, giving the impression of a local gathering spot where neighbors and friends connect over food.

Overall, this was truly one of the nicer lunch buffets I’ve been to — not only because of the food, but because of the hospitality and community feel. Jaipur Cuisine of India offers great value, authentic flavors, and a welcoming environment that makes you want to return. If you’re in the area and craving Indian cuisine, it’s worth a stop.

I live in Virginia and tried to place an order with a restaurant with a similar name. Somehow wires got crossed and the order was placed with this restaurant. When the food wasn’t picked up the restaurant went out of the way to track me down and reimburse the charge. This is a restaurant worth your businesses. Good people are sometimes hard to find and should be recognized!

Called in to pick up an order… Ended up not being able to pick it up because my little sister got sick… I couldn’t call in because I was too busy tending to my baby sister when I got a call back from the restaurant and was yelled at by the worker saying I wasted their time and money and didn’t believe that someone could get sick and 20 minutes… Sorry I have a baby sister with stomach problems be more considerate

Had a nice masala tea and veg cutlet, taste was close to authentic and the food felt fresh. Price is decent too and the restaurant has a nice ambiance for dining in. Staff was pleasant. Not sure about the main course since I haven't tried but will try it next time.

For starters we were warmly welcomed in for dinner and invited to a table. By the time we left, all tables were taken, and the restaurant was at full capacity, and I could see why. The food was Delicious! The little fresh homemade chutneys and sauces were sooo good, especially the sweet pickled carrot chutney with lemon peel...what an incredible Flavor party. The prawns masala curry was amazing and the rich flavorful sauce was so good that we dipped our warm buttery homemade garlic naan in it long after the prawns were gone...and it remained warm because the curries are all served in little individual tabletop serving pots with warmers. The lamb curry was so good that even my picky 9 year old loved it! The samosas, both lamb and potatoe were incredibly flavorful. The potatoe ones are slightly spicy but my 9 year old loved the lamb samosas and the sweet tamarind sauce. The saffron rice with green peas was soooo good. Everything was fresh, delicious and we will be be going back again! Overall this place has Amazing food and warm welcoming attentive service!
