You think when you order a "tomato & burrata salad" it would come with burrata. Well you would be wrong at this restaurant. It was a plate of tomatoes with 3 of the tiniest scoops of cheese I've ever seen. There were 5 of us and not enough cheese for everyone to have a bite. It was seriously laughable. Don't put "burrata" in the title of the dish if you plan on just serving a plate of poorly dressed tomatoes. We also ordered two pastas that had ZERO flavor. Between the 5 of us we didn't even finish it because it was so unpleasant. The only decent thing we had was the margarita pizza, but it was just "fine" and could not save our awful dining experience. I was super excited to try Jane Q, but unfortunately my party and I all left extremely disappointed.

from start to finish, this was easily the worst meal i've ever had in Los Angeles. there were five of us at dinner and not a single one of us left happy or even slightly full. to start, our server was inattentive, slow, and uninformed when asked questions about the very small wine list. we ordered a bottle of wine and a beer and the wrong wine was brought out. note: the place was essentially empty except for us. then we ordered the burrata, tomato and stone fruit appetizer to share. there were literally 3 tablespoons of burrata, 5 very thin slices of pear, and some tomatoes. we were all in such shock as there wasn't even enough cheese for each of us to have a bite -- for $19. we order burrata apps every place they're offered and i've never seen less than a full ball provided as part of the meal. disappointed and uninterested in eating just tomatoes, we ate the three bites and left the most of the rest on the plate. the waitress saw we clearly barely ate any, and not only didn't she ask us about it, she also didn't clear the plate that was pushed aside clearly indicating we were done. we followed that up with the cacio e pepe gnocchi, mushroom pasta, and margarita pizza. somehow the mushroom pasta was completely devoid of any flavor. like we could see the mushrooms but somehow there was zero taste. at all. it was very confusing. the gnocchi was one of the grossest pastas any of us had ever received at a restaurant. the pasta was clearly the cheap store bought kind and the sauce was this off putting, watery, milky liquid with a hint of pepper. between the 5 of us, all of whom were super hungry, we could barely force down 1/3 of the entire dish. the margarita pizza was the only thing we kind of enjoyed bc it was "fine." still overpriced for what you got but we were so desperate for anything edible that we were thrilled there was at least one decent option. not only was this dinner super expensive and a miserable experience overall, but then had to get a second meal down the road after. there are so many amazing restaurants in LA. don't waste your time or money going here.

Went to the lounge and the bartender was Great and the staff very friendly. Got some food at the restaurant and it was ok because I'm vegan, not many tasty options, but still a nice ambiance with great people.

I had dinner here last night and I was blown away. The Italian food was better than most Italian food places. I had a green salad that had a perfect dressing on it. I also had the gnocchi that was seasoned and prepared perfectly. The service from Chris was as good as it gets. My friends had 2 different pizzas and both of them were amazing. The Malbec and Cabernet wines were top notch. The experience was great and the food was far better than most hotel restaurants.

I have been a Jane Q customer since their opening and I hadn't been into eat there in quite sometime. Over the years and through the pandemic with the change over I think the restaurant lost their way but Wow! I went in tonight just for convenience and had their shrimp bucatini....Jane Q is back!! The chefs are nailing it. As soon as the server set the dish in front of me I knew - this is going to taste delicious. Glad to have them back!

We were staying at the hotel for one night and were hungry when we arrived so we decided to have lunch at Jane Q for accessibility. The lunch menu was a little light, but that's understandable. Several people stopped in for the bottle pressed juice selection. They also had a nice beer selection. Order: margarita pizza, meatballs, mixed green salad The reason for 3 stars is we found a bug in the salad and the meatballs were not hot which made me think they were old. We ordered a second pizza which was comp'd. The customer service was very nice and friendly.

The meatball appetizer was delicious as was the fresh, warm chicken Cesar salad, but the place was almost totally empty at 6:30 pm on an evening prior to the Pantages show and the sun was beating into the western glass wall such that half the people couldn't see despite wearing sunglasses. Oddly the wall facing a building across the street had a window shade, not the window with sun pouring in daily!!! And one of the employees was sweeping up a lot of dust and dirt from the floor while we ate!

Service was amazing. Besma (not sure of spelling) was delightful, attentive, and kind. The pasta was so yummy, especially the farmers market pasta. The bread and mozzarella was fabulous! I didn't realize that this is a coffee shop with really good food when I booked. Single tables and communal tables, and the base of a hotel. Would definitely return!

We grabbed lunch after checking in at the hotel. I honestly wasn’t expecting much because hotel restaurants are so hit or miss. Omar was friendly and attentive - super nice! It was a cute little place to grab a bite. The food was delicious. Our table shared a salad, meatballs, pizza, and a sandwich. We all ate a little of everything. The salad was very fresh. The Pepperoni Pizza did not disappoint with the addition of honey. The meatball was delicious and definitely homemade. The turkey sandwich was great and fresh. The turkey was delicious and shaved just how I like it. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Zero complaints! Will likely eat here again before we leave!

Being attached to the most dog friendly hotel chain there is, you would think they would be dog friendly, but they are absolutely not. Very rude, and the pizza we had was terrible. Soggy, undercooked crust while at the same time burning the pepperoni. Bad technique for a “Neapolitan” pizza joint. They shouldn’t be allowed to label themselves as Neapolitan. Although they call themselves Neopolitan, so I should have realized it wasn’t going to be the real deal.

Found this great breakfast spot right down in the lobby of the Kimpton Everly hotel. Great space, good food and excellent service by Omar our waiter. This was a good find?
