Step inside and it feels like 🇰🇷 Korea in LA.
Real flavors, real heat, real Jokbal love.
🔥 The stir-fried octopus stole my heart.
No kidding — the stir-fried octopus here deserves a fan club 🐙🔥
That kick of spice + sweet veggies = perfection.
💛boiled pork (white-cut jokbal) — the meat comes with the skin on, giving it that perfect chewy, bouncy texture.
Beef Short Rib Soup With Dried Cabbage
Stir-Fried Squid With Vegetables
Feels like eating in Seoul, not LA.

Togo large sizes paid over $100.00. However the portion of the meats are very small ans they gave us box full of veggies and sides only. Very oversized and not so much worth its price.

Having been away from my homeland for a long time, the dishes I miss most are Jokbal (pig's trotters), Bossam (pork belly wraps), and Nokdujeon (mung bean pancake).
Jang Choong Dong Jokbal is the one place that satisfies all those cravings. The kongnamul-guk (bean sprout soup) is especially delicious. Even though it's served as a side, it’s so flavorful and refreshing.
The staff are attentive, walking around with kettles to refill the bean sprout soup without even having to ask. The owner is kind, and the employees are quick to meet the customers’ needs. Among the side dishes, the musengchae (spicy julienned radish salad) was outstanding. It’s mouth-watering and pairs perfectly with the Jokbal and Bossam. I've been a regular since they were at their Western location, making me a loyal customer for over 20 years. Highly, highly recommend!

THE BEST jokbal place in ktown!! We always eat at least once every 2 weeks! Its good even if we togo them!
old school Korean. very nice specialization. marinated pork/pork leg. best if you speak the language and know something about the food already otherwise it's hard to explain. the core specials as shown on the menu were great. served warm with all the peripheral dishes. the meat was tender but not falling apart giving the right texture. the pork were fatty but not oily as you eat it and let off the right resistance as you chew. the gelatinous parts of the skin were not tough. chew right thru. not dry jerky nor overcooked flops of skin. spot on. also tried the fried pan cake. it's properly made thick, holding together without falling apart as it was served in pieces. there were high quality ingredients you can see in the cake and not just bits and pieces. the hot ironnplate it came with kept it warm since it's impossible to eat the large pancake in a short instance. not burn, not flaky, similar to hash browns to some degree. I can't speak for the other stuff.

The B-E-S-T Jokbal ever. I loved it, it was soooo delicious! The portions are enormous and everything was fresh and tasty. I would order ahead of time as it was busy on a Saturday and the parking is a little small. I will definitely come back for more!
I've eaten it often, but it's always delicious without any taste differences.

We always had family birthday parties at this restaurant. After the meal, I asked for a plate and fork to eat the cake, and the woman with short black hair who served our table said it would be difficult to do this every time, and from next time she would prepare it herself. How much does a family of 8 order and how much is the tip every time? Is it right to say that to a customer? This is my first time experiencing such ridiculous restaurant service. It's so unpleasant that I won't go there again. They provided service like that and included the tip in the price of the food for 5 or more people. I hope the boss pays more attention to employee training.

Pretty decent place in terms of service and atmosphere, but the food is excellent. Highly recommended! I really enjoyed the lunch menu, jokbal, and soybean stew combo.?
Parking: There are parking lots in front of the restaurant. Although they appear small, they are actually quite spacious.

Eat rice?❤️People from Zhongguo are not as good as people from Zhongguo! 菏怶寝~菏縸粋苋特莂偅??芉芭芣婹廻! ! ! ???
I had 냉채족발 for to go. It's not like before. Something changed. It cost $50. Inflation, I get it. However, it had like 8% meat and 92% vegetables. Alot less than before. Not only that, the meat was much tougher to chew and also in a different container. Will not go again ?

Old style Korean restaurant specialise in pork trotter dish. Most of the menu are spicy. So be aware. Also this means that kids may have limited option. However, steamed pork was ok for the kids and people who do not fancy spicy taste.
Parking is alright.
