Great cocktails and food take time: This is a great place to overhear the locals over their wine glasses and hearty plates of steak and the signature pot roast. If you're racing to make it to a show, you might be better suited with a fast casual place.

The drinks were delicious. Everyone had different ones and they were so good! The food was elevated. Perfectly cooked salmon, white fish, burger and chicken. Creamed spinach and purple yams. Wow! Chocolate pudding and hot fudge and caramel sundae topped off a perfect meal. Already dreaming of going back. Pure heaven.

If we could give Jar 10 stars, we would—and then we’d try to sneak in a few more. We live just up the street and have officially decided we’re never moving… solely because we love this restaurant that much. The food? Impeccable. The vibe? Effortlessly cool. The pot roast? Life-changing. Thank you, Suzanne and team, for making every visit feel like a special occasion. Long live Jar—our forever neighborhood obsession.
