It was my first time at this one, I understand they have a few more and I would love to visit them all. This one was nice with a romantic atmosphere. The service was fantastic. The food was great, I had their Halibut which I expected to pay a bit more for. It was nicely cooked and came with potatoes and baby vegetables. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The margarita I had so good and served with fresh pineapple. I loved everything about this place.

Ambiance was attractive, nothing special! Love Javier's on PCH in Newport. Worth a trip. My young friend and I both ordered the Cabo Azul—my favorite. Disappointed that server did not honor her40th birthday when there was a balloon and gift on the table and with the reservation.

I booked my reservation with Open table and noted that my wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we would like a booth. We arrived and waited about 10 minutes before seated and we got a booth in a nice area of the restaurant. We've been to the other Javier's in New Port beach and enjoyed the food more at that location and the attention to the details. We didn't receive any special attention or even an anniversary dessert.
