By far one of the best looking restaurants in Los Angeles. Javier's is amazing. Great teasting food, good drinks and great service.

Was there for a business meeting. We shared the LA Tablita with double steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. All the side were tasty, wouldn't say the best beans I've had but they were ok.

Had the ahi tuna ceviche. I've never had ahi tuna in a ceviche. It was very tasty. Almost reminded me of poke, but much more refreshing.

Guacamole was nothing special but creamy and tasty.

For drinks I had the Tamarindo and the Cristalino. Both drinks were tasty and fresh.

Host wanted to sit 5 people in a table for 3. She has black curly hair and does not know how to properly greet. Overall, the restaurant needs to have higher standards for friendliness at such high prices. I've had better service at McDonald's.

Second time here. Brought my mom for lunch, ordered coffee, coke and guacamole and our lunch plate (enchiladas). The manager and waitress shared that the gas went out and they didn’t know when it would come back that our food would take a while. Then they came back and said we should just order a seafood plate, I asked how long and the manager with an attitude said “I don’t know it could be 5 minutes it could be an hour.” We waited over an hour because we were hungry, having a nice conversation and don’t forget the $40 we were going to have to pay for the valet. The gas never worked therefore we never got hour meal and we were still charged for the coffee, coke and guacamole, still paid $40 for valet and there was no compensation for the inconvenience. We were still asked to please return another day and hopefully we get a better experience. I will never be coming back, terrible customer service and attentiveness.

Most of it is good here.
Well decor, ambiance, service, food
But the prices are beyond....
I've been to most or all Javiers, but many times I rather go to a 5 star Steak Restaurant rather than here die their prices...
Paid $75.00 for valet parking
Spent $344.00 in food and drinks party of two
I can spend the exact same at Steak Blvd and valet parking included for better Steak, drinks and better atmosphere
Owners, watch out!!!.. restaurant industry is doing well in the past 7 months...

Javier's DTLA is a game-changer in the world of Mexican cuisine! This stunning restaurant has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike, and for good reason. Here's what makes Javier's DTLA truly exceptional:

The dishes at Javier's DTLA are expertly crafted, showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of Mexican cuisine. From the tender filet mignon to the succulent shrimp and lobster, every bite is a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. Standout options include :
- *Enchilada Trio Del Mar*: A seafood lover's dream, featuring crab, shrimp, and lobster in a rich, savory sauce.
- *Filete Antiguo*: Grilled filet mignon served on a bed of sautéed spinach with baby potatoes and a light chipotle cream sauce.
- *Mar y Tierra*: A decadent combination of filet mignon and Maine lobster tail, sautéed in garlic butter sauce.

Javier's DTLA offers an impressive array of premium meats, including :
- *Angus Prime Skirt Steak*: Grilled to perfection and served with a side of mixed vegetables.
- *Filet Mignon*: Tender and juicy, served with a variety of sauces.

The atmosphere at Javier's DTLA is elegant and inviting, with vibrant colors and cozy lighting that transports you to Mexico. The spacious dining area, complete with large tables and cream-colored booths, is perfect for special occasions or romantic evenings .

The staff at Javier's DTLA are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about every menu item. They work together seamlessly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience .

The only thing that i think is missing is a photographer , i had to wait to check if a server had the time to take our group picture , other high end restaurants here in LA and vegas offer that service , not sure why javiers doesn’t have it 😓😓😓😓

But, overall
Javier's DTLA is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience elevated Mexican cuisine in a sophisticated setting. With its exceptional food, extensive meat selection, and outstanding service, this restaurant is sure to impress even the most discerning diners.

Love this place!! It’s very very fancy. The inside is like sexy Miami meets LA. The staff is all super friendly (and attractive). They have an amazing tequila selection. The food was delicious as well. Our server, Sage was great! He was super knowledgeable about the menu, he checked in on us at the perfect times. He always made sure we had a drink in our hands. I recommend reservations, and parking is tricky. There’s a paid lot next to the restaurant or valet that’s like $45 😬 everything we ordered was delicious and high quality. The fish and the steak. The guava cheesecake was pretty incredible as well.

Server was amazing. Dont remember his name but black guy with braids. Very nice. Only issue I had was I told the bus boy I wanted to take some stuff you go and they just brought me a bag and box. Feel like for the price they should do the whole process for me but I could just be....picky...

Had to leave a review because I was appalled. Came and ordered food and a drink ( side note love the enchiladas Del Mar) but it was during shift change. I had already checked out signed and KEPT my part of the receipt. Talked with someone at the bar so ordered another drink and checked out, all for some random employee to come to me and say I didn’t pay. Literally had to go through my purse to show him both receipts. Could he have asked his coworkers, yes, did he decide to make me feel uncomfortable, yes. I will never support them again. All the manager said was he will talk to the man ( did I see the talk, no). Just go to Joey’s. Mind you I spent near 200 and had me empty my purse at the bar smh.

The worst restaurant what they have is luxury and the food too much carra and it is not good apart the waitress asks you what is the percentage of the tip that you base to leave I think it is not obligation to leave the tip because in the food is included all luxury and service do not have to ask the participating customer is forcing one and it is not right to get to my mine and I and spend with the tip were $ 306 dollar I get too charisma the dishes yesterday the food is not good the carme Too hard and dry is a robbery what we are taking with demanding the tip and there is too much tip that they take away I to the penalty I told him that 15% and they took out me $42 is too much that I earn 18 an hour or this time in 1 hour I earn them is a robbery what is grabbing the truth the cut bathtub for 2 plates $170 is a robbery the truth hajaja for penalty pay and I get rid of the table the worst
