We’ve walked by this spot for years and we finally went in today. Daaaaaang! So glad we did. It’s insanely delicious. My wife and I got the Jeff’s Special (pastrami sando) and it was next level. Every bite was so flavorful. Also thoroughly enjoyed the homemade slaw + grabbed a topo chico and cane sugar ginger ale at the front. Great vibes and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this spot! Hands down one of the top sandwiches in LA. We’ll be back again soon.

Really tasty sandwiches prepared in the back of a liquor store. The blonde guy, I think his name was McCain, did a really great job of explaining the menu and making our sandwiches quickly. I highly reccomend this establishment.

Pretty bang average sandwich. For the size and ingredients, also very overpriced. Ended up with the dirty baby because they were out of Reuben(???). Felt like a slightly elevated hot pocket. Won’t be back.

Love this concept, menu, and all the creative components. All the sandwiches sound delicious, I could’ve gotten the whole menu. As far as execution though, I felt the sandwiches could have had a little more balance to them. I got Jeff’s special, and although tasty, it was more cheese than pastrami and quite oily. I don’t have a problem with getting messy but every other aspect of the sandwich was getting overshadowed by the cheese. Not enough kraut to punch and not enough pastrami to feel like a proper Reuben. Wanted to give them another shot so I got another, the turkey salad sandwich, but after a half it just tasted like a chill cheese frito. I believe in you guys and am sure there’s other delicious stuff on the menu!! I just think the sandwiches are a little out of balance and maybe the owner needs to go back in there and see if procedures/amounts are being followed.

I don't know why this place got so many great reviews. I ordered a Jeff's special and it was awful 😖 and totally greasy! I won't be coming back.

Just ordered my favorite sandwich- the yuzu chicken and it was missing the preserved lemon! A bit disappointing when I’m paying $20 for a sandwich…

Need to come to this small food joint inside the liquor place! They have seating outside the place, which is perfect!

I got their Dirty Baby sandwich with avocado! Cost 2 dollars more to add avocado, btw.
Rating: 9/10!!!
Really greasy, be warned, but worth it for sure!

My brother ordered their Jeff's Special Sandwich.
He rated it a 7/10, but I rate it 8.5/10!
For me, it was delicious! But personally, I prefer their Dirty Baby sandwich ❤️‍🔥

If I happen to be in the area again, I will certainly return. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I eagerly anticipate my next visit 😊

😟 I wanted to like this place but I was disappointed with the surge of oil from the each bite of the pastrami sandwich. It lacks flavor. Might at well drink oil. The bread was soaked. I just threw it away.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had! Unique flavor combinations with a perfect bite each time. Definitely recommend the Dirty Baby sandwich - delicious ingredients and slightly spicy. Also recommend the Hainan chicken sandwich.

Posting this because of all the good reviews: If you don’t want to get bombarded by grease and cheese, would not recommend. And yes, $15.50 is a lot for junk food.

Cool concept and choice of ingredients though!

Great experience here. The service and food were fantastic. Loved the vibe of the place and quality of the sandwiches. We ordered the burrata and ham special and The Jeff Special. The Jeff was hot and tasty and the Burrata Ham was delicious. High quality products.
