Our favorite (non AYCE) Korean bbq (thanks to our friend Heny for the recommendation) Great quality of meat, great service, and great ambiance. So many other options if you’re not feeling Korean Bbq, we like to order their soup and spicy cold noodle. And we love that it’s located in our favorite Madang plaza in Ktown.

Called ahead and asked if I could bring a birthday cake, sure no problem they said. Asked the waitress for a knife to cut the cake with, Sorry we don't have knives she said. I could understand if she said they didn't have any culinary skills, because that would explain the disgusting dishes including the kimchi. Seriously, is it even possible to mess up kimchi in a Korean restaurant? And don't get me started on the poor maintenance of the furniture and third world bathrooms. Stay away from this place. At least the meats were as good as the Ralph's butchers.

Meat quality is really good. Similar to Mun if not higher. Service was top notch. The servers would cook everything. Perfect medium rare on most cut of beef. We loved the rib eye, aged prime rib, marinated galbi, and beef tongue. There are more cuts, in a range of prices, including tomahawks and dry aged prime rib. The assorted Banchans were delicious. Drinks price are reasonable. Korean beer is perfect for KBBQ. They also have Japanese whiskey highballs. Love the high ceiling and the smokeless charcoal grills. None of us come out smelling like we just had grilled meat. They have packaged fits for small to large group and a la cart menu. This is now a the the top of my LA KBBQ list.

This upscale KBBQ has amazing quality meats, delicious banchan, and a full menu of great traditional Korean dishes it may not provide the raucous atmosphere of parks or quarters but a wonderful place for adults to have a great dinner and be able to carry on a conversation with one's companions!

It’s a pretty good restaurant. But last night was horrible. I took a friend of mine there. We finished the meal but only found a dead cockroach on the plate where they serve the meat.

Fancier Korean BBQ. The staff cooks for you. My small ding is that the quality of banchan is a bit inconsistent. Highlights are the spicy cold noodles, their famous beef tartare and great Korean BBQ.
