Food not as I remember this use to the place not so much anymore at least for me.

Good food

I went here ordered 3 orders of 4 pieces chicken . Got home went to eat the chicken bit into a thigh and it was bloody. I called to let them know they told me to come back I was already home about 13 miles away. They then told me to save the chicken bring it back I could have the chicken replace the following day. I went back to the bloody chicken. At this time they gave me a 8 piece instead of the 12 piece I ordered. This place had definitely went down hill from over the years . I give it one star. Stay away especially you can get really sick from eating half cooked bloody chicken

Chicken was burnt, and beignets were hard and dry. Also, the food was cold. First time I have ever received food like this from Jim Dandy. I wanted my money back, and it destroyed the taste I had for it.

No seating area. Fried chicken is good. Coleslaw is their own, different. Their rice has diced jalapenos, with a flavor of dirty rice. I like it. The roll is regular, 3rd party purchase, dry, no flavor.

WHAT IN THE NONE CLEANING OF THE CHICKEN IS THIS!?😡 MY CHICKEN STILL HAD FEATHERS ON IT! YES PLURAL SEVERAL! THEY FRYING UNCLEAN FOOD! CALLING HEALTH DEPARTMENT ASAP! Really WISH I COULD POST THIS PICTURE!

The chicken was Very Good to my surprise. My husband and I tried them in 2022 and it was HORRIBLE. But Under New Ownership now. So I decided to tried them again. Hated the fries (shoestring , yuk). Cold and hard. Corn fritters were ok but no corn and powder sugar…that’s a BIG NO. But 100% improvement on the chicken.

It's a walk-in and take out type place. The service doesn't take too long, it's just the line that can get long. They take card or cash, but cash seems easier. The menu is simple and easy to order from and they let you choose which pieces youd prefer. The chicken is tasty. Not the best I ever had, but good for LA. The spicy chicken isn't spicy, just more seasoned... Id definitely recommend going for spicyThe fries were way too pale for me, but apparently a lot of people like them. The "corn fritters" are basically doughy beignets with a few kernels of corn inside and coated in powdered sugar. They are a nice sweet treat on the side
