Jjukku Jjukku BBQ is a solid AYCE Korean BBQ option in K-town. They have 3 different options to choose from: Classic for $37.99, Deluxe for $48.99, or Premium for $57.99. I went with Deluxe because that option includes the beef finger meat, beef tongue, marinated boneless short rib, LA short rib, etc. If you get the Premium option, you get the Prime cuts of meat (prime boneless short rib, ribeye, etc.).

Service was decent at Jjukku Jjukuu... until it started getting busy. Then, it become more difficult to flag down the servers to order.

There's a 2 hour dining limit and I recommend you come early before the place fills up. Parking can also be a little tricky in this area. There are paid parking lots within a couple blocks. I recommend parking there vs. looking for street parking.

It close at 1am but stop taking customers from 12am. But last time when we arrived at 12am, their last call was 12:30am, and we can still eat there. So kind of confusing about how they take customers and also it’s wired that a restaurant stop taking customers one hour before closing. Very disappointing.

Very bad experience here. Their hours are listed as open until 1 AM yet they actually close at midnight. This wasn’t told to us when we got seated. Despite feeling rushed, we tried our best to make the best of the experience. We ordered the premium AYCE. The main reason why we ordered it was to have the beef tartar. Immediately the brisket comes out frozen… like rock hard frozen. This was an easy fix as after setting it on the grill it cooked easily. The quality was OK. Now, when the beef tartare came out, after 20 mins of waiting it was also rockhard solid frozen. We could not eat it. We politely told the server that the tartar was frozen and asked if we could have another one, instead of apologizing and trying to offer a solution she responded with “if you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it”… umm what? I was actually baffled why are we paying premium prices for food that is not edible? Ok.. let’s give the other meats a chance. The grill was burning out food and I had to get up and ask for another grill as nobody came to check on us at all when there was only two parties eating in the entire restaurant. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHECK!
They made multiple errors with bringing out our check. Initially, we were charged for another parties check, we had to be bothered 4 times during our meal with check issues and trying to get it paid!!! Once the charge processed, they also ended up charging me an unauthorized tip and sent me a FORGED receipt with a forged signature! Their server literally put in a tip for herself on my card. This is fraud. Do NOT come here

Order Tier C for sure the quality is much better than the other 2. I am a bit disappointed with the beef tartare though- it was frozen! How could we enjoy a beef tartare with ice in it? However salute to the server who did not charge us extra for not finishing the dish. I honestly enjoyed everything else. A very nice meal indeed with affordable price.

I was told by the waiter: next time go to the Korean Market to buy food instead of going to the restaurant since I didn't order a second round of meat. Mind you I ordered 3 meat items from the menu plus rice and eggs. There were two of us we ate the sides too. Guess it's time to find a new place, might try the new place across the street.

Service was great! But one person can only have one steamed egg now!⭐️🌟

Moving from Washington made me realize how much I’m missing out on the charcoal BBQs. Great meat selection and they switch you your grill based on the meat which is fantastic!

Tried to come eat here by myself when there is no traffic on a weekday. Ridiculous “2 person minimum” on a TUESDAY. Are you serious?

I went to try this place for the first time.
And I can say my experience was not as planned.
As I have been to many different Korean BBQ spots and by fay this is the worst. We ordered the steak and short rib but as we put it on the grill the so called meat did not cook. It would burn and charcoal the outside but once you cut down the middle it was raw. The taste of this "meat" was bland, chalky, just tough as you chew also the texture felt, looked as if it was some 3d printed meat. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This used to be my favorite AYCE Korean BBQ spot, and I always loved the high quality meat they served. While it’s on the pricier side, I didn’t mind because the food was worth it. However, my recent visit was disappointing, and I’m not sure if it’s due to inflation or other factors, but the quality has gone downhill.

The meat was very chewy, tough to swallow, and nothing like what I used to enjoy here. Even the side dishes, which I used to love, were far too sweet and overly seasoned. It feels like everything has been compromised in terms of quality and taste.

On top of that, I had a horrible experience with the parking service at the building. After an altercation with a rude attendant(Dorian and Jorge) who insisted I pay $20 despite the owner saying otherwise, I left feeling frustrated and upset. With both the food quality declining and the terrible parking experience, I don’t see myself coming back to this restaurant or even this building.

Becareful! They are making you pay tip on the tax portion as well. You shouldn't have to pay tip on the tax part.

It was unthinkable for me to leave LA without having tasted the famous K-bbq and what a surprise! A big fan of Korean cuisine, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meats and the service at a very attractive price. Also very appreciated by the Korean community, we came back a second time to enjoy the premium barbecue once again, won over by the tenderness and flavor of the products.

Not good at all given the price of their dinner sets. Try more local mom and pop ones not this internet sensation.
