I'm not so into the cafeteria style seating and quite honestly the service could be better... that said, I have to give it 5 stars because bringing my wife a Chinese chicken salad from Jones makes up for all sins and shortcomings apparently.
These days most restaurants have lowered their quality and/or portions sizes due to the economy and the high cost but this Joan's quality and portions were great.
Had the Short Rib Sandwich and the Breakfast Burrito delivered and they were both amazing.

The worst part about Joan’s is that it’s really hard to park but street parking is definitely possible.
We had two sandwiches and honestly both were great. I had the braised short rib sandwich and wow, truly incredible. As someone who has tried to make braised short ribs before, I know how hard it is to make it as tasty as this sandwich was. The short ribs were delicate yet packed...
