I've been going to Joe's falafel weekly lately. I've noticed they have hired some new staff. Before Joe retired it was mostly Joe, his son, or this one other worker that usually ran the restaurant. I've met four new faces this month. Yesterday I met Tamara and Marat for the first time. Both Armenian. Their customer service was so over the top that I had to upgrade my overall rating from four stars to five stars. I've never experienced this type of welcoming customer service from a restaurant employee before. Maybe they bought the restaurant? If they did, good for them! If they are just working there, you need to give these two a raise Joe.

William took care of us. Free falafel samples, rice, fries... they do a great hummus and the olive oil is EXCELLENT. The falafel wrap is pretty much perfect. I wish it had hot sauce... but I never asked for any so that's on me!!! The place is super casual but a nice spot for a friendly dinner catch up over good food. Real ones go to Joe's.

Food and service here were amazing! If you're ever in the area stop by and get your Mediterranean fix! The grilled chicken was so fresh! I was so hungry and forgot to take a pic of my plate.

My company placed a large lunch order with Joe's for the first time. Everything was great and all the food was fresh. We plan on getting them again very soon!

I was looking for a Mediterranean Restaurant close to Universal Studios Hollywood. I found Joe's Falafel on yelp and read the reviews. This restaurant had lots of great reviews. Decided to try it and I have no regrets. William was very helpful to guide us on what to order. The food was tasty and the ingredients very fresh. I ordered the vegetarian plate and my husband the sampler. We were not disappointed. William and the staff were friendly. Restaurant very clean. I will definitely eat there again.

I'm a new customer here and the food is fantastic. A couple of things that bothers me about this place is I have to ask for the garlic sauce and salad dressing. This happens when the owner is not there. First visit, the owner hooked me up with all the condiments and he knew I was a new customer. On my second visit to the restaurant for take-out, I assumed salad dressing and the garlic sauce was in the bag. Got home and it wasn't there. I figured it was a honest mistake. On the third visit for take-out, I realized the worker doesn't include the dressing nor the garlic sauce unless you ask. The second thing that bothers me is the same worker who hands out the sauces helps make the large sandwich wrap. He flips the wrap to heat it up, but he doesn't wash his hands prior to touching the wrap.

This is my favorite falafel spot in Los Angeles. Fresh pita, wonderful, garlic sauce, fresh falafel, great service, incredible ambience, great place to go with your date. Enjoy!

We loved the hummus, pita, and lafa, and my Sharma wrap was very good. My daughter said the gyro was very good.

Great now I’m going to be dreaming about felafel sandwiches all year. This place is the truth!A long time ago there was a Lebanese chef that open the falafel shop next to the mosque near my apartment in Seoul. As soon as you would walk in the door, he would smile at you tear off a piece of dough, roll out your pita and put it in the oven. Heaven I tell you, can you really have a great falafel sandwich without freshly made pita? Not in my world. Joe’s is the best I’ve had in ten years and I’ve been searching. If you’ve never had a falafel sandwich on freshly made pita, you owe it to yourself to get here as soon as possible.
