Another amazing experience at Joey DTLA! This place never disappoints! The service keeps pushing my the boundaries of what customer service excellence should be! Darrell...truly another superstar! The night was just perfect, as usual!

Today a group of business professionals invited me to meet them here for dinner and drinks. While we were waiting for another colleague to arrive, we had some appetizers and approximately two drinks each while getting ready to go to our table we decided we would order one more drink to take with us, however because one of our colleagues had ordered two martinis she was cut off. The reason was because the Martinez have approximately 5 ounces of alcohol vodka. Are we are all business professionals, and nobody was acting unreasonable, the manager in security or brought over because she attempted to order one more drink. This was one of the most unusual and embarrassing situations for all of us as the attention that was drawn over attempting to order another drink was unreasonable.
The manager Ashlyn advise that they had just instituted a new policy when it cam to martinis this two martini limit is nowhere advertised or mentioned. How this whole entire situation was handled was embarrassing my friend into our colleagues who were there to enjoy a Christmas outing together the commotion, at no time where we disrespectful or problematic, however the manager stated that it was their protocol to have security standby while asking us to pay the bill. This was an embarrassment for all of us a shameful act that they would treat their clients and customers who regularly visit in this fashion. This will be the last time that I ever come to this establishment or recommend that we meet there as we have so many times businesses like this don’t care about their clients or appetizer bill and drink bill totaled about $400. That’s not inclusive of what we would’ve eaten as a group know that this unreasonable act without doubt will cost your business thousands of dollars in the year to come because I will refuse to meet anyone there or have anyone that we associate suggest that we meet there ever again. My suggestion is to anyone to boycott this place because as business professionals, you should never be subjected to the treatment warranted for problematic or combative customers simply because one person in the group had ordered two drinks of a particular kind.

It's so loud that you can't even have a conversation with the person you are sitting next to. Besides that, it has great food and really good service.

Went to Joey for a birthday dinner. Great menu. We loved everything we ordered - salmon, sea bass, ravioli with shrimp. There is an extensive wine & cocktail list, my partner enjoyed his Bloody Mary. Our server was great. Perfect evening EXCEPT for the noise. The bar (with sports on TV) is right in the middle of the restaurant with the booths around the perimeter. Plus, thumping music (?) played all night. Too bad. If you like to chat with your companions this is not the restaurant for you.

Our food was cold. 3 over priced steak dinners were all cold. I asked for the manager and her whole demeanor was screaming “What do you want me to do about it?” She didn't apologize until we pointed out that she never apologized. The steaks were hot but the vegetables were still cold on the second plate. They took the meals off our bill, but the manager never came back to check on us.

Food was great- welcomed w glass of champagne. Loved the touch! There was obviously an issue w service team. Our server took our drink order than just about forgot about us. Had to ask another for our drinks that sat at the bar. Place was very busy, and service team had a huddle and there was something really wrong. We went back next day and sat at the bar - MUCH better! I'd go back for food and sit at the bar.

My wife and I went to Joey DTLA for a date night, and it was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was vibrant and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Kiana and Ellery treated us well, we’ll definitely be back for another date soon!
