Joy is a cute Taiwanese café on York Blvd with excellent savory dan bing and boba. Their scallion pancake wrap is crispy and layered, and the soy milk is fresh-made daily. The place has a modern design with warm wood tones, and it fills up quick around lunchtime. I came at 11:30 AM and had no wait. Would definitely come back for the beef noodle soup next time.
Great spot. My friend wanted to take me here as it’s her favorite spot for dan dan noodles.

And lemme tell ya, it’s some good friggin dan dan noodles.

She’s such a fan of joy that she got herself some swag.

That’s how much she loves this place and I totally get it now.

I’ve ordered Joy off of DoorDash on multiple occasions and it’s hit or miss with the service. Their thousand layer pancake is incredible. However, their packaging for delivery needs work. There is no secure way to package the drinks and they place the boba drinks in plastic wraps without a holder. My drink arrived tipped over and some spillage.
