This was one of the best meals we've ever had in Los Angeles! Absolutely every part of the meal was not only prepared, uniquely, and with a multitude of flavors, but just the right temperature and serving size! The service was efficient and friendly. The crab dip, and the hush puppies were a great way to start our meal. We completed it by sharing the chicken, which was amazing! Oh! And don't forget the amazing mac & cheese. We will definitely be back.
Lovely spot and this is my second time here but the food got cold very quickly which was strange. The shrimp and grits were awesome, not thrilled about the Caesar salad, the hard black eyed peas were not a desirable texture for me. The ceviche kanpachi was overly sauced which covered such a beautiful fish in a sweet globby sauce, more like poke than ceviche. Mac and cheese was cold by the time I got to it so we just took it to-go. Killer banana cream pie but with a cold Americana.
Great sunday supper they do with a DJ. Was a bit loud but overall was a great night! Can't wait to go again.
We My girlfriends and I came for dinner on a Sunday evening. DJ was playing great music while we had our delicious dinner. Or waiter was amazing and the host was so welcoming. We will definitely come back again.
The staff was lovely. The food was amazing. The setting was cute and cozy. I will definitely return.
food was so fantastic! Drinks were balanced and well thought out, the ambiance was amazing and the service was superb!
I did the Sunday Supper and the ambience with the live DJ was outstanding. The cornbread and cocktails were delicious, however, everything else lacked seasoning.
An amazing LA experience.... Sunday Supper will see me again. Ordered appetizers and festive drinks.... on the pricier side but the music and vibes complete the experience and I will gladly pay.
Joyce is a great restaurant with a wonderful ambiance... service is outstanding and the food is fantastic. Would go back for sure.
Joyce was a great find. we had the fried game hen and the catfish with the collard greens and blue crab elote. The service was homey and friendly and the food was excellent. We picked this restaurant because it met out time and location needs, but would make it a point to return with intention in the future.

Had a great lunch with a party of four. We ate family style so that we could try a variety of items on the menu. The chicken sandwich, Caesar salad, mac & cheese, and catfish are 5 stars.
Wonderful southern cooking in a really pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worse stopping if you live in LA or are visiting.
We went for the Sunday R&B night. We sat next to the DJ and it wasn't super loud, the food options were great, the host made a toast. Great night!
Great food and service. Drinks were too strong . I thought the espresso martinis could've been better
