Coffee is great! I had the Jurassic and my boyfriend had uncle buck. Music made the place lively and the theme was very artistic

Everything I’ve tried thus far is a 12/10. The iced gentle giant is sooo good if you like a cardamom spiced note. I just branched out, and tried the iced magic latte I believe with oat milk. This oat milk is top tier, no separation, it’s so smooth. The Cinnamon Roll is the best I’ve had from the tangy cream cheese frosting to the pillowy soft roll itself. Everyone there is so nice & treat you with such genuine kindness. Being new to this area, and finding a gem like this place is so comforting in this big city. They really put the ✨craft✨ in craft coffee. Definitely try Jurassic Magic, you won’t regret it.

I'm so glad they opened up literally a minute away from home. I only discovered it last week, even though they've been open for about 3 months. Great service, good coffee. Can't wait to go back

I was here for coffee, and what a disappointment. If you only care about lounging around and chill, this is neat. If you want ☕️ elsewhere.

I originally left just a 5 star rating, no details, because I was heading out quickly and didn’t want to forget to leave something. But after seeing Angela’s kind response, I had to come back and say more. This place is awesome. There’s a few seats out front, but walking through the mirrored hallway into the quiet back room felt like stepping into a secret little workspace. Peaceful, well-designed, and just a great vibe overall.

My drink from JM was great, and you can grab hot food from Convi next door. Their breakfast sandwich was chef’s kiss. I realized as I was writing this that the mirrored room actually leads into Sendo, a beautiful home goods shop. The way these three businesses flow together and support each other makes the whole experience feel even more special.

Angela and the team are lovely, and it’s clear their energy draws in a great crowd. I really enjoyed my time here and highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Cannot say I am impressed:

- no large menu for people waiting in line to decide what to get
- ordered two drinks (a coffee drink and a tea drink) and they both taste like mud
- took 15 mins to get my drinks

Only pro here is they use compostable straws. Unfortunately the drinks themselves were a complete waste of the plastic cups they came in. My partner and I couldn't even finish them.

Also, the chatgpt responses from the owner here are pretentious and just weird.

Really cool spot in mid city. The baristas are friendly and the coffee is well priced. My favorite iced americanos in all of LA honestly.

Honestly, overrated. Most of their pastries come from that monopolistic distributor that has a strong hold on LA coffee shops - exact same things you can find anywhere. I ordered a mocha and it was undrinkable. They added a super artificial tasting syrup that made it taste medicinal, without warning, and wouldn’t remake it. I suppose you can get away with this kind of quality when you’e the only option in the neighborhood. Glad it exists for the nearby residents who don’t have other options, but not worth the drive.
