Good Mexi-terrianian food from gyros to tortas, shawarma pitas- California burritos. Everything delicious

Their orange chicken is probably one of the best ones we have had! It's not your typical Panda Express or the ones you get at any Chinese fast food/express restaurant. Its crispy yet has the delicious sweet and sour sauce that does not dominate. Their chicken fried rice, veggie stir fry, pad Thai, and tom yum soup are all very delicious. Great price and great service!

I've been coming here for over 10 years and I love the owners, the food, and the little cafe they've been serving in! The prices are great for LA, and the food has never been bad out of all the times I've been. Sometimes they've even slipped in extra food maybe by mistake but I'll take it! I wish I could come more often, but I don't live as close as I used to, but whenever I'm craving thai it's the only place I love to go!

The best Thai food & great prices. A buddy took me here & I'm glad he did. The owners are awesome, Owen & Bo. Good conservative Americans that are grateful to this great country. There's a recent review here here by a girl that states she is going through chemo but her profile pic shows a healthy person (that's not wearing a mask) & I don't understand why you would risk your health in anyway just to go out to eat if you truly are sick in anyway. To ask a restaurant to cater to your needs seems very self centered. Keep up the great work, Owen.

Have been a customer for last 5 years! Their yellow curry is the best in DTLA! And the service is excellent! Keep up your good work!

I had just finished up my third chemo injection & was looking forward to a delicious Thai lunch as a treat. I get that mask mandates are no longer in affect but since my immune system is so low, I'm susceptible to all illnesses. I finished ordering & asked politely if the cook would be able to prepare my food with a mask on & the guy gave me attitude & told me they couldn't serve me. I don't see what the big deal is with wearing a mask to prepare food for one single customer who is battling cancer. I especially didn't understand the callousness & rudeness from him.

Was there for the first time. Thai design - I can't call it a restaurant. but just go and have a tasty meal - yes. I really liked Thai food. I'm sure it's because the owner and chef are Thai. And this is very good if you really want to get a Thai dish. I ordered Spicy Chicken Pad Thai, it was great. The portion is very big. And also Thai tea, I like it. But this drink must either be loved or not. I will definitely go back there again. Thank you!

Very friendly staff. Food was made quickly and tastes great. Make sure you give the Thai spicy basil crispy pork a try.

I love Thai food from Rene Cafe! Amazing service and beautiful small business owners. Chicken Pad Thai is my ultimate favorite. A simple go-to with great flavor. Very filling portions. Again, can't say enough about the owners. They work hard to serve their community! Love the small business feel!
