SCAM!
The LA location does not exist. The physical location is a different restaurant called Banana Leaf that is not currently open. Do not try to order online it will take your money!
A real location might exist in Pasadena but this one is definitely a scam

JUST DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. This is no more ‘Kapoor’s Akbar Indian Restaurant. It’s apparently sold to and purchased by a new guy, it’s now called ‘BANANA RESTAURANT’, very down and dingy, very shady looking corner and entrance. Dirty, smelly, poorly maintained, poorly managed. ROACHES all over the place including the seating area. Absolutely stay away, won’t recommend any family dining here…
DONT EVEN THINK OF IT. The staff, an elderly Indian couple, were literally struggling, hadn’t eaten all day long and just waiting to close the shop and leave, sad for them.
The open until time of 1am is ridiculous… @ 9:30pm, the staff were about to close.
Kid-friendliness: Not at all.

This restaurant no longer exists. It has now been transformed into another Indian restaurant called Banana Leaf. I couldn't eat inside the restaurant, so I took the chicken biryani home, and it was delicious.

Took people out here for dinner, was disappointed. The food taste wasn’t great and the gravies for chicken tikka were super thin and bland.
A little inconsistent depending on who's cooking but always tasty
Delicious
Very good mutton curry
