I have been wanting to try this place for over a year. Finally had the chance to come it out for a private sushi hand roll making class. This place is located in downtown LA they have a private lot next to the restaurant for parking which was nice cause it was raining and the parking lot is about 5 steps from the door also convent cause this area has not parking. We had a great time here at a holiday party here. They gave us creative dishes to try and I really enjoyed the sliced yellow tail, truffle caviar sashimi, salmon rolls, yellowtail rolls, garlic edamame, sliced waygu, waygu rolls, waygu tacos, and cheese cake. I was not a huge fan of the Al pastor sea bass or uni pasta since it had a raw quail egg, but other people in my part seemed to like the sea bass. The mojitos were good. My friend booked the hand roll sushi making class for 4 of us. We arrived a little early, found parking sort of easily, and stopped at the front bar. We received a complimentary glass of wine while we waited and learned a little more about the restaurant from the bartender. On the way to class, we got a tour of the private dining areas and a view into the kitchen. Once escorted to the rear, we were seated with the complete setup waiting on the table.
