Super slow 🐌 service 🙄 employees are barely moving 😑 and they are Not even that busy.. homeless people coming in and serving themselves with free refills.. Counter is very sticky and dirty. No place to sit down and eat

I knew better than to come here, but I was just craving some crispy chicken, and that seasoning is really good. But, oh boy, was I in for a rude awakening. I ended up being admitted to the hospital because I couldn’t get over the stomach pain, high fever, and urge to vomit. Just stay away from these places. What’s sad is that I always suspected they cut corners because of how cheap they seem, but KFC is expensive for how poorly they handle things. Just stay clear - I promise I did you or your kids a favor. No one who loves their kids should bring them here.

Food was normal KFC quality. I asked for 3 piece (meal) and the cashier never asked 3 pieces of chicken or 3 pieces of chicken meal? She said mashed potatoes and gravy and I said yes. KFC offers several side dishes. Got my order without Cole Slaw and I said the picture shows all of the above with biscuit. There is no indoor seating, only outdoor; 2 tables with 4 seats and 1 table with 1 seat. 3 guys were at 1 table and a homeless man had all his stuff on the seats and on the table. I was left with 1 seat table that faces the wall. I thought I lost my seat because I had to go inside and clear up the mess with the Cole Slaw, I think I paid more because I paid for 2 sides separately. I went way out of my way to this KFC because there are not many in Santa Monica or Venice (where I came from). Everybody left and I moved to a better seat with a view of the street to finish my soda.
I doordashed my food so I can’t rate the service, but this meal was outstanding. I mean if you like KFC already it’s hard to ruin it, but today was especially delicious. Y’all threw in a free item and sold me on these heavenly little things called Apple poppers as well as the saucy nuggets. Omg. This made staying in on a Friday night and watching Tv the best idea ever. The food was piping hot and the apple littles were flakey and ahhhh, I am going to be dreaming of this meal.

Ordered a 2 piece box meal, and when I got back to work, I found they gave me 3 thighs only, and I paid $9.82. Completely messed up order. Plus, they were hanging a new sign directly over the entrance door with workers in a lift basket about 2 feet over the door. Wires and trip hazards all over just trying to enter.
