Food was not good tbh. I was heading to Panda Express, but then decided I wanted to support local/small business, but I should’ve went with panda lol.
U get there and u order from a takeout window. It was my first time there and the menu was confusing, I couldn’t figure out the combo plates. I asked, and the man was dismissive and just pointed to the menu. So I end up ordering this plate with kunpao chicken with a side of rice.
Fried rice was ok. I’ve had better.
The kunpao chicken wasn’t at all good.
Big chunks of vegetable, hardly any pieces of chicken. And it was watery for some reason.
You get lunch specials with a full portion of rice, an eggroll, and two crab rangoons for $10 and it's actually pretty tasty. This is the best cheap American-Chinese place I've been to in all of LA.
Large portions and food is delicious.
Great food Great service Great people! Loved everything…
Have been coming here about more than 40 yrs. Have seen it change management. Service and food still good. I had a daycare use to bring about 10.children always welcomed.
This Chinese restaurant exceeded all expectations! The service was exemplary—attentive but not overbearing, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding, especially the General Tso’s chicken, which was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The ambiance was equally impressive, with stunning Asian-inspired décor and cozy lighting that set the perfect mood for a meal. It’s the perfect spot for both a casual dinner or a special celebration!
Its not the same, chow mein noodles are no longer skinny, cream cheese wontons are folded like a child did them, and way like less filling, and I can't even order my fish special the way I used to. Costs more for substitution and the noodles aren't even as good. I'm unhappy with these changes. I am happy to report that the flavor is still the same so I don't know if this should be 3 or 4 stars
Restaurants that are supposed to have seating but have closed the seating and are take out only should list that in the info. I drove here expecting to sit down and eat its take out only. Not only did I waste time coming here I have to waste time looking for another place to eat.
AMAZING. Everything is so good and prepared excellently. Staff was so kind and greeted us pleasantly. 60 years running for a good a** reason .
The barbecue pork is not the same as it used to be with the old owners it's not cut thin it's not tender and The taste is just not the same. The BBQ fried rice hardly has any barbecue pork in there

Awful. We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Egg Foo Yun, Orange Chicken, and Chicken Eggs Rolls. When we went to go pick up the owner/worker stared at me while I was tipping. The food came out cold and not what I was expecting. Over the phone I asked for 6 chicken egg rolls, but they only gave me 3. When I told them they got the order wrong they did not offer the courtesy of 3 extra egg rolls. It would have been nice if they offered this, because our total was $90.
All of the egg rolls are small, thin, and have no taste. The egg foo yun was no what we expected at all.
