I had takeaways a couple of times before & finally did dining ? in about a couple of weeks ago ! With my mom & sister & her husband . The waiter was super nice ,a very friendly Japanese guy who was excited to see Japanese customers !! He answered to all of my brother in law's questions & our questions very honestly & helped us a lot. He gave us a tip to get ramen/ sushi combinations, too ! So that we could try both out / save $ !! They had matcha beer ? which was green !! It smelled so nice !! My brother in law said he loved it! But,according to the waiter ,no one really does !? LOL He said everyone who orders it ,leaves a half .?But ,he really loved it as he likes matcha green tea .We had vegan sushi ,my fave is fake eel one !! So yummy !! ? Also, my sister's vegetarian fried rice - eggs = vegan looked/ smelled so good !! She loved it !! She had it w tofu ! We all had fried tofu, which is also vegan. I had a vegan miso Ramen & mom had a vegan shoyu = soy sauce ,Ramen, I had a bite of it ,too & both were delicious !! ? When we left ,the waiter ran out the store to catch us to thank us !! So sweet !! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for vegans,vegetarians & everybody who loves Japanese dishes !! The inside of the restaurant looked real nice / clean !! The bathroom was clean,too ! We were the only Japanese inside ! Lol. They were busy & all others were American customers. As well as my brother in law . My sister is American since a decade ago ! We'll definitely frequent this place !! They are very close to Trader Joe's & Farmers market & the Grove !! So you can visit them after you are done with some shopping ! ?Vegetarian options: Vegetarian fried rice ,2 different kinds of vegan sushi & vegan Ramen, miso or shoyu= soy sauce broth. Fried tofu dish,etc.!! I highly recommend all !!Wheelchair accessibility: My mom uses her wheelchair & it was easy to get in ( ramp ) & maneuve it inside ,they helped her a lot ,too ! Very nice !!

Excellent experience! Food quality was 10/10. All of the sushi I tried tasted so fresh with the perfect ratio of fish to rice. I highly recommend any of the sushi combos because it gives the perfect variety of sushi. Our server, Toshi, was great as he was always checking up on us and served our food very quickly. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Dynamite Roll which was definitely dynamite!! The appetizers were also amazing especially the garlic edamame and spicy tuna on crispy rice. The service from Hiro was 10/10. Kinari is the best.

Great sushi spot def one of my favs. Its a nice small place with amazing fresh sushi. I got the otoro bluefin tuna and yellowtail delight, highly recommend! The server, Toshi, was very kind and attentive towards our table and always coming by to ask if we needed anything else. This place needs more love for sure! 11/10 service and food

Came to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Hiro was great and instantly sprang into action, setting up a few outdoor heaters for our big group. The Yellowtail is great, ramen choices were solid, and tempura ice cream to finish it off was amazing. This place is a real gem around this part of town, great and cozy experience.

Came here from my clinicals nearby to have lunch and menu is similar to where I used to work. I did enjoy the bento box I ordered and nice clean place inside. Friendly server. Will come visit soon again...

The sushi was really fresh and large and great price for the quality. I wish they had a sushi bar though as I love to sit at a sushi bar. The frosted mugs for the beer was the best.
It was a marvelous night out to eat. This place is genuinely incredible - sushi, ramen, bowls, apps & everything. Also the vibe is just chill w great service.Anne was my waitress & she steered me in the right direction w/ the salmon bowl that was fuego.Thanks,Ryan

The food here is OK. I would be more interested in coming during a happy hour special. Came here with my boyfriend to eat dinner. It was nice but nothing crazy pretty basic Japanese. It’s satisfied our sushi craving but I wouldn’t say it was anything exceptional, that I would go back to.
