In my opinion, this is the best location in the chain. The staff are fantastic and very polite. The place feels safe, many people still talk about East LA based on the past, but nowadays it’s important to say that it’s a much more peaceful area.
Go without hesitation and enjoy some of the best food in LA.

This place used to be a landmark, which is why I was excited to return. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The wait was long, and when we finally got our food the tacos were cold and the tortillas were hard. I ordered four tacos and ended up throwing them in the trash. Sadly, this place is not what it used to be. Very disappointing and will never return.

Honestly, this King Taco is the best of all King Taco's. My favorite there is the carne asada sope, green chile chicken tamal and asada tacos 🌮

Well what can I say about king taco!!! Definitely not the same as before. The burrito tortilla was solid and tough. Hard to chew. Fake corn??? I need to fight the food servers for napkins and hot sauce. The prices are definitely up there and the food is simply overrated.
Ate with a group of friends tonight. 2 of us got food poisoning shortly after finishing our food. Won't be coming here again.

Sunday 8 of March 2026 bad really bad service indoor tables close early all because the cleaning guy wants to go early home time 11:40pm no one in the registered or even the people who gives the tacos said we need to eat our tacos outside in the patio and even is been cold outside. Fix this people on the registered or who ever make tacos or call for the number orders let people then the tables inside are close early because even the manager ignored my attention. No one warning us then indoor tables are close. Really bad experience not eating in peace.

Today, I ordered the nachos with carne asada and was greatly disappointed. The chips were commercial, not freshly prepared, the cheese was out of a can, and the meat had an old flavor and it was not tender. After eating less than a quarter, I threw the nachos away. Forty five minutes later, on my way home to Riverside County, I had to find a bathroom real quick. I won't be going back.

During the late 70s when I was a child my parents would go and the 80s and the early 90's I would take my friend's and date's to eat and enjoy.
