I can't believe a soon as I walk in with 3 of my kids the cashier's eyes flipped all the way back to his brain. The place doesn't close till 9. It's 10 till 8 . There's one person in front of me. The first thing out his mouth is, "Whatever you order is to go. Because by the time we're some with your order it will be 830." Of course I tell my kids let's go. Then look at the guy and tell him, "That's funny, you tell that to the person in front of me. " Good thing I'm from out of town because I'm never going back.Parking: No parking. By chance someone was leaving. It's next to apartments so you have to have chairs to reserve a spot out in the street.

Let's just start by saying that this place is not in the safest neighborhood. Also if you go on a Saturday and Sunday, you won't find parking at all. I always call ahead of time and then just go pick up so I spend the least amount of time as possible there. The number 8, which is the teriyaki chicken plate, is the best thing ever. The service is good as well, all you really interact with is the cashier. The ambiance is okay I would say. Restaurant is always empty when I go because people just pick up and take their order somewhere else. But back to the food, the reason this place gets 5 stars from me is because the teriyaki plate they have is the best. I like how they mix the rice with the egg and they give you the side salad. Their thousand island is also amazing. This place is one of those hidden gems that people don't try because they see the neighborhood and decide not to stop by. I highly recommend this place!

Worst $37 spent.! The chicken was absolutely disgusting and tasted expired. Had the worst stomach ache afterward.

I've been coming to this joint since I was a kid, before it changed ownership to the current owners, even now that I live in the bay I still have to get my fix when I come home. The only reason why I rate it 4 is because of the prices, but I do love that now they give that sweet soy sauce away more liberally than before. Honestly it's worth it, but beware that getting into this place is hard if you're driving but it's worth it. CASH ONLY BTW, so if you feeding a family, more than 50 for sure

Worst $29 I've ever spent on food. The burger was nasty no flavor, fried rice was sogy with no flavor. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Guess ownership has changed, not what I remember from this place growing up. I had a stomach ache all afternoon & felt nauseous that evening.
