The food is not good not bad, it's ok. You have to order a series of dishes in order to get a full meal, it's very difficult to find someone who shares your taste in food to share everything like that. The waiter named Carrie was super nice a little busy but nice, the other one shaved big muscled guy was either really tired or had a bad attitude in general, not very welcome, like if Regina George was working there. The layout is very packed and it gets loud, we got a table in the middle of other two groups, when I say in the middle is in the middle you are like 30 cms away from the other table, we had to move cause it was unbearable, like on of those family reunions with a bunch of loud kids, and everybody speaking loud to make themselves understood at the same time. We were two people trying to have dinner and a normal talk so it didn't really work out. There's no cocktails only wine. Dessert menu was OK, I got something like icecream/cheescake/cake/with marshmallow it was ok. I had to order the chicken to go because it took forever as we were being served after the 30 people group.

I was finally able to check off Kismet after months of passing by it after work. The food was delectable and distinctive, and the service was great. The tahdig/persian crispy rice and the roasted maitake mushrooms were our favorites of the night. My boyfriend and I thought that some dishes could tone down on the acidity (like the carrot side dish). Overall, it was a solid dinner, and we would certainly be back to try the other offerings and the dessert menu.

I am so happy I finally tried this spot. I've had Kismet bookmarked for the last year and am so glad I finally came in for dinner. First of all, the atmosphere at Kismet is so vibrant and welcoming. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted with a cozy and hip ambiance that instantly puts you in a great mood. The decor is stylish yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Love the flowers on the table. The menu at Kismet is a culinary adventure that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. They offer a delightful selection of dishes inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors, with a modern twist. Must orders are: the labneh and malawach, the cucumber salad, the tadig. For drinks, make sure to get the rose water lemonade and the yuzu sake!! The service at Kismet is great. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you navigate through the menu. They're happy to provide recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional!

NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN LA! Or maybe in the world...each dish was spectacular aesthetically, and held an exquisite combinations of flavor. The ambience was calm and peaceful, and the tables for two were turned so that you were closer to the person you're with & you have more room to spread out on each side - genius. The host, the waiter, the person we mistook for our waiter, everyone was lovely and kind, guests included. Will definitely be back again. And again. And again.

Food was very delicious here, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. We had a large group of people so we went with a pre-fixe menu and it was great! We had a few with dietary restrictions and they were able to accomodate for this as well.Vegetarian options: They have lots of vegetarian options and also can accommodate for many dietary restrictions.

Kismet was a fantastic experience start to finish. Warm, professional front of house, a unique combination of spices and flavorings on a diverse menu, intimacy, and perfect vibe. The chicken skewers are a must.

UPDATE**** I THREW UPHonestly, food was overrated and super expensive. We told them we didn’t love it, and they only comp’d for the rice. It’s honestly overrated, would’ve felt better if they actually recognized that it wasn’t a pleasant experience for us. I wouldn’t go there again, this is my first review in my life - think about the velocity of that statementThree of us spent $270+ and probably 5% of the food was actually satisfying.

Pretentious! Save your money. LA has so much better food to offer than this - and that includes street food.

Ate here last night. Had pretty much everything on the menu (including both desserts!) and it was all incredible. Can’t recommend it enough. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Vibes were great. Love kismet. Can’t wait to go back.
