Finally mustered the courage to try the infamous @howlinraysThe line was everything I expected it to be: 3 hours on an empty stomach#nobueno
We ordered the garlic chicken, the shredded beef platter, and the yuca fritas. The chicken was very tender and loved the sauce that it was covered in; definitely very savory and garlicy. The beef was also very tender and flavorful and paired well with the rice. I really liked the cilantro dip that came with the yuca fritas as well as the other sauce that came with it! Overall, pretty positive experience as the meat was good quality and the portions were huge so we had a lot of leftovers for the next day.
Definitely the best chicken sandwich place I have ever been to. I went here twice before quarantine started, and this place has really lived up to my expectations. Even though the wait is EXTREMELY annoying, I'd actually say that this is definitely worth the wait and hype. The staff is actually so communicative and energetic all the time. My friend and I sat in the restaurant, and workers there tried to entertain us the whole time. It seemed like everyone loved their job, and the vibes were just amazing!! It just made us enjoy the food even more.
After a day of fun at the Santa Monica pier, our group decided to eat here for dinner. It was about a 15-20 mins away, so not too far. We got seated right away. Bread arrived as we waited for our food- which was pretty good. I wish the oil and balsamic would have been at the table before the bread was gone but alas. Food arrived shortly after ordering- white fish, chicken, and steaks. black beans, plantains, and white rice, yellow rice, and fries. Everything was pretty good. No complaints about the food. The service was good also. Overall a good Cuban spot in the area.
I just ordered off Postmates, and although I'm a regular of your restaurant, this is my first time ordering delivery. The food was sooo freaking amazing. I tried the pork chops for the first time and my girlfriend got the Ox tails. BRAVO so juicy and the flavors were bomb as hell. The food was still hot! Thank you for such an awesome experience while staying at home
This is definitely a preferred date night outing if your craving a vibrant environment with good food, and excellent selection of beer.I have sat inside, at the bar and on the patio and each has its charm with its own vibe that is pleasant :)
Disclaimer: We took our dogs to go, so this review is solely based on the food. Can't really speak much of the service! We came in on a random Tuesday night around 9pm. I was so surprised to find a very short line. The exterior of the restaurant can be misleading--kind of in a weird area. Once you walk in, however...it's so nice! Oh, and it does have a small parking lot, too.
This is original location! Apparently the kitchen chef has been here for over 25yrs!! Entrees range $16-$20.My favorites at Versailles restaurants:- Lengua entree (recommend with white rice and beans mix)- Oxtail- Shredded beef
Good food however they raised their prices. We enjoyed sitting outside and the staff kept everything clean. Very friendly staff.
I love Mexican food. I am a a Mahican food lover and I visit as many Mexican restaurants as possible. the waiters were nice and the food was really really nice too.
