All I can say is WOW ! These were the BEST jackfruit tacos I’ve ever had. Tons of flavor and some good kick. I will definitely be back for more. The pastries I’ve had there are great too. THANKS.

Every single employee was super friendly, the raspberry brownie was DELICIOUS 😋 and such a cute tranquil place for a hangout with your friends or to sip on some good coffee while doing some work. Definitely coming back!

FOOD POISONING
I ordered the moros cakes on Friday late morning and by 5 that day I came down with food poisoning. That was the only thing I’d eaten all day and so I’m certain that’s what gave me food poisoning. When I was served the plate, I noticed that the salad looked very dark green and soggier than usual (I order this everytime I visit). By Saturday around 6 I started to vomit and everything that came out was that salad. Nothing else. The food poisoning symptoms really came on strong around 8pm Friday evening and today is Monday almost 8pm and I am still very queasy and sick. Sunday afternoon I thought it was gone but it turns out that’s because I had stopped drinking or trying to eat anything but it came back at around 3. I’ve gone here many times over the years since they’ve opened but after this experience I can never go there again.

First time coming here. Just wanted a cute vegan spot for coffee with some food. They had so many options it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering something extra to go. Everything was so good. I had the breakfast sandwich, dirty chai latte, jackfruit tacos and a tart with apples and almonds. It’s bittersweet that I live in South LA otherwise I’d be here every week. 😅

Vegan food (with real eggs optional), cute atmosphere, and a sign reminding us that 🧊 needs a warrant

This is a great vegetarian breakfast and lunch place in highland park. It is nearly all vegan, except they have an option for real eggs in some dishes.

The food is tasty. They make good coffee. The baked goods are fantastic. It is a nice place to sit with a small group for breakfast or brunch and chat. They also have a few outdoor seats if you want to people watch on Fig.

This place is such a gem! You’ll fall in love with the atmosphere and be head over heels for the delicious, high quality menu. Kitchen mouse has always served food that’s delicious and with plenty of healthy options. I’ve moved away and still order delivery or takeout whenever I get the chance. Kitchen Mouse will always have my heart!
