Best gluten free pastries in LA! Everything is delicious but the strawberry scone and pistachio cake are my faves. For breakfast I get the morning glory bowl and smashed potatoes. Yum. The tofu scramble is mind-bogglingly delicious. I also don’t know what they do to the brown rice but it feels like I’m eating a dessert coz it’s so chewy, fluidly and perfect.

Expect a long line at this popular neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot on Figueroa in Highland Park. It’s family friendly with an unpretentious, cozy vibe with walls painted white, pink and light green.
I recommend the chilaquiles for breakfast or lunch. The tortilla chips are covered in enchilada sauce, cilantro cream and cashew queso, with slaw and toasted pepitas, black beans and tofu scramble.

I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. The set up is adorable. The staff is so sweet and helpful. The food is AMAZING. My friend brought me here and told me there wasn't a bad thing on the menu and she was right. The jackfruit tacos were so good that I waited in a line that went out the door...TWICE and it was absolutely worth it. Definitely my favorite new brunch spot.
