Working around L.A. sometimes it is difficult to find a location that I am comfortable stopping at. This place although the parking lot is small, answered my needs. Clean place, very good food, attentive service. Thumbs up!

I’ve been craving some Korean Fried Chicken for a while! I didn’t want to drive all the way to Koreatown so I decided to look around downtown to see if there was a local spot near by.I happened to find Kokio Chicken, which was located on the outskirts of the fashion district! I came in and saw all the delicious offerings and decided to get some drumsticks and a chicken sandwich. They had so many delicious sauces to choose from but I decided to go for the sweet and spicy!Love that the food is made fresh, and only when you order it! The fried chicken came out piping hot, and even though it was doused in sweet and spicy sauce, you still got a nice crunch in every bite! The chicken sandwich smelled delicious, super buttery and sweet! It was filled with a nice slaw, radishes and special sauce.Really glad to have found such a delicious chicken spot near me. Will definitely come back, can’t wait to try their rice cakes!

The wings and the chicken sandwiches is crispy and flavorful. The chicken is of good quality in my opinion. The choices of flavors for the wings are delicious and unique. I ordered the sweet and spicy and original. The honey rice cake chicken was a bit spicy but tangy as well. The flavors mesh well together. I'm a fan of this Korean fried chicken and everyone near this restaurant should give them a try. If you are coming from out of town there is a parking lot across the street where you pay $4 all day. I'm definitely a fan of Kokio!

The Korea town location used to be my favorite fried chicken place ever, so finding it downtown was a treat. I had the best service, friendly staff, and delicious food.Downtown location is still a little hard to find, but absolutely worth it!They make their own sauces from scratch and the chicken is extra crispy.Can't say enough good things about it! Eat here and hope more locations open back up!
