This restaurant is the best in Los Angeles. The food is so delicious and healthy! It’s amazing for dine in and take out. They supplied the food for a large event and I had so many compliments about food. I’m so happy I went with them. We’ve been dining here for years! They’re perfect for any occasion and they take care of you like you’ve never seen!!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place truly earned it. The service was unbelievably poor from start to finish. They brought out food for only half of our table, and the rest of us waited…and waited…while our meals never showed up at all.
What made everything worse was the staff’s attitude; there was no attempt to accommodate us, no apology, and no urgency to fix the situation.

Disappointment! I’ve somehow found myself here quite a few times and time after time I leave totally unimpressed. Their “service” is an embarrassment, they ignore the fact that u exist even when they’re almost empty. Whatever. After an eternity of waiting and calling for a waiter we finally got our order in. But did we get our order? Not the way we hoped. It took AN HOUR AND A HALF PLUS for us to receive our food. Btw we were there when there was no crowd at all and ordered right then too. And people came after us. Like way after. THEY got their food before US who were there almost a half hour earlier. And any question regarding the status of the food was answered back grumpily and grudgingly. Like it required effort to respond with a sentence. So much for “service”. Same story when we asked the guy in charge he just got mad at us. Anyway after what seemed like a year and 25 weeks our food came. Boy were we surprised. Nothing we ate tasted good. You would think something that that too that many hours to make would taste phenomenal. It had NO taste. U might as well eat cardboard (the texture was like that too). I have nothing good to say about this place and I don’t think everything we went through was worth some food that was hella mid. And do not get me started on the prices those were outRAGEOUS. I don’t think I’ll be coming here again it’s not worth it in the slightest.

Kolah Farangi has really stepped up lately! The food was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. We ordered through DoorDash, and the packaging has definitely improved. It kept everything warm and secure. Portions are more generous, and I love the attention to detail with the neatly wrapped chopsticks and utensils.
In the past, this place was a bit hit or miss, but it feels like they’re genuinely trying now. Overall, an excellent experience this time, and I think it’s worth giving them another chance.

This is insane. $40 for plain rice and 6 small pieces of chicken, one roasted tomato and piece of onion wrapped in plastic.

We go there frequently, food is always good, although I found a piece of plastic in my kabob.
They didn’t apologize or did anything to accommodate me in any way. A bit disappointed.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I placed an order for pickup at 2:30pm for a family event. They brought the order out 35 minutes late and forgot the 5 orders of wontons and 5 hummus plates. All the pickles and olives appetizers were missing olives. I had asked for extra grilled tomatoes and onions which they did not give. They then told me if I wanted them to grill tomatoes and onions it would take another 20-30 minutes and each set would cost an additional $4. The server Roberto was unapologetic and very dismissive. I will not be ordering from them again. Definitely do not place large orders with them as they obviously can’t handle it.

Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We walked in, got seated, and were then ignored for 20 minutes while trying to flag down any server. Not one person acknowledged us the entire time. Eventually, someone finally came over not to take our order, but to tell us there was no more food left. And then they kicked us out. No apology. No explanation. Just treated us like we didn’t matter. It was disgusting and completely dehumanizing. I have no idea how this place is still in business. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

Took them too long to try to take our order to the wrong table....then the chicken was half burnt....then the horrible lazy dumb waiters that gave the worst service ever, hit me up for a big tip - I tipped 14% for horrible service and he looked sad as he took the tip like he was just shot. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER in a supposed high class kosher kabab house. I will not be back.

Previous reviews were way off, in our view. Good and speedy service, food came quickly and was delicious.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. found a large insect leg in my food, and not a single staff member apologized or took responsibility. The place was clearly understaffed, and there was no manager on site to address the situation. Food safety and basic customer service were completely missing. I will not be returning, and strongly suggest others think twice before dining here.
Ghormeh Sabzi was absolutely TERRIBLE! Service mediocre! Atmosphere is so terrible! SUGGESTION: Just focus on one cuisine—-Iranian or Chinese!
I wait 40 minutes for food
