Our first time here tonight. Exceeded our expectations. Huge portions and if you get the combo which includes tempura, you get three tempura shrimps and vegetables. One order is actually enough for two people if you get an extra bowl of rice, but I ate the pork combo with med hot spicy all by myself. You can pick how spicy you want it. I'm glad they served the white rice in a big bowl so you can spoon the meat and cabbage on top and let the juices drop down on the rice. I ended up with three servings of meat on my one bowl of rice. This will be my new go-to Korean place when I come to LA. They will validate 2 hours parking if you dine in. You have to try this place. They said they have been here for 30 years. We stayed at the Miyako Hotel and this was just around the corner inside the Japanese Village Plaza Mall.

Favorite spot for years in Little Tokyo. Great portion for the price. They always make you feel welcomed. Slowish for lunch time but gets packed for dinner.

Very good food, terrible service, they gave me the bill first before the food, and then I didn't finish eating and they were already removing the plates with food still on them, horrible experience.

This place is infested with racist workers and the owner thinks tips are mandatory. Went there today the kid that they had as a waiter only talked to us to ask what our order was. No greeting, no offering to explain menu, nothing. Throughout our meal we caught him 4 times GLARING at us. On the TV they were playing a show that had graphic scenes of blood/open injuries WHILE WE WERE EATING, AND THEY WERE TOO BUSY WATCHING THE SHOW TO HEAR ME CALLING THEM TWICE TO TELL THEM TO CHANGE THAT LOL. Towards the end of the meal, the waiter boy just hands us the check without us asking. As if he was kicking us out of the place. This meal definitely took a lot of patience to get through.
On top of everything, when I went in to pay I only tipped a dollar since the whole experience bar the food was baffling. When I was walking away the lady calls me back to the counter and asks me "what is this? one dora?" As if I they had earned that tip.
On top of everything I described tonight I had my phone stolen here in 2022 by staff (we were the last table of the day) so definitely won't be coming back and I really wish they shut down this place at some point soon.

GREAT!!! A bit expensive, however the food is over-the-top, 5 star food!!! No single complaint! The waiters are also very nice and helpful. It's not your average fake Asian restaurant, so I totally reccomend going when having the chance!!!

We were all satisfied with our food. Waiter was nice to us, my dad was pleased and he's not easily pleased. We didn't know that for 5 people or more they automatically deduct a tip, (we had 6 people ) so when we left cash at the table they stopped is outside and told us we OVER TIPPED witch was really nice of them to be honest with us. Its a small place but at the VERY BACK there's two tables with setting for 6 people each.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOURE NOT KOREAN this establishment is owned by koreans meaning they give u glades and stares if youre not korean i have witnessed the waitress who owns this restaurant go after people that only tip less or no top she will go out the door and chase after you TIPPING IS NOT MANDATORY ITS CUSTOMARY even if u tip

Quality of food was amazing. If you're dining in, it is a bit cramped which is why we did take out. Atmosphere is generally very welcoming!
