Pleasant, good tempura.
They accidentally tried to charge me for a whole bottle of shochu despite getting a glass, but they corrected it quickly, and with an apology.

Seriously HANDS DOWN DOPEST RAMEN SHOP IN LA!
It’s true about great service and quality of food. Everything was really clean I witnessed them cleaning and sanitizing every table after customers were done with their food. Staff always came and checked on us if everything was good. Can’t believe this place isn’t busy. Definitely recommend this spot if all the other “hype spots” are busy. They won’t let you down with their food and kind service

Mixed Feelings About the Food!
The Karaage here was really good – I enjoyed the taste very much!
However, I was quite disappointed with the Gyoza. It felt as though they were serving pre-prepared items, as they weren't very hot, and the texture was unfortunately soggy. Moreover, they completely lacked the flavorful juiciness that makes gyoza so enjoyable. It was a stark contrast to the tasty karaage.

Went here on a Tuesday night so it was kind of empty. The place is small, cozy, and well-decorated with japanese food & culture. Really gives off that old authentic japanese restaurant vibe. Service was good. Food tasted ok, nothing special. I would suggest getting extra sides of meat for your meal because they just give you a little.

Traditional Japanese restaurant with an interior design and staff that immerses you in the cultural experience. Food is delicious and all-around well prepared. Menu heavily gears towards noodle and rice dishes like ramen and curry.

Very racist place if you are of color.
My girlfriend went inside this place as she usually does to buy food but when I came in to pick up our order he didn't want to serve me. He acted like we never order anything and I was trying to steal someone's order
So I went back inside with my girlfriend and then he said oh, I called you and you didn't answer so we didn't prepare the food. She told him but why not, I already paid you the money when I first came in. My phone died but that shouldn't stop you from preparing a prepaid order.
Then he called his manager and said the manager wants him to see her ID.
Now it's really crazy because now he shows us what he really thinks, is that she may be commiting some type of fraud.
I then show him my ID which matches my debit card we paid with to prove it was me and asked for a refund.
He never apologized nor cared.
Don't spend your money on racists establishments that depend on customers money to survive.
So sad.
To make it even worse, the server that served her often in the past recognized her and said he didn't understand what was going on but he also proved that they didn't really cared for Blacks buying from their establishment because though he acknowledged her he did not speak up and say a word to his younger co worker who was blatantly disrespecting us.

This was the most RACIST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD.
1.) ordered food to go on nye. @ 8:09
2.) paid for it online. Phone died
3.) Order was said to be ready @ 8:41
4.) Boyfriend went to pick the food up, came back to the car empty handed and confused “ What did we order, because the kid ( AQUA) is asking a lot of questions. I laugh and say I’ll go in with you I order here TWICE A MONTH.
5.) walk in and see my name on receipt and ask for our order
6.) Aqua said I called no answer so we didn’t make food. I asked…. Why it’s already paid for. He says it’s the rules. I just ordered from here last week huh. Do you want to speak to the owner. I say yes still confused because we PAID BEFORE WE PICKED IT UP
7.) chaos ensues. Aqua CALLS OWNER. They talk and then he asks for my id and credit card I paid for it with. Sir what, the food isn’t made but paid and we need proof
8.) He said yes and I got a refund
9.) IVE BEEN HERE MULTIPLE TIMES NO PROBLEM BUT today the way Aqua and the Owner handled it it assured me BLACK PEOPLE ARENT WANTED NOR WELCOMED
Amazing food all around, the service staff were incredibly sweet and our food was here in no more than 10 minutes! Food was also relatively cheap for the big servings and delicious taste. A place you HAVE to go if you're visiting Little Tokyo!

Amazing little store with delicious ramen. It’s a bit small so if you go with babies & strollers it’s a bit difficult but it’s still a nice place to visit!
