I've been, "one of the longest" fan's or person tasting the "Miceli's Italian ⁷Restaurants Food for the past 60 yrs now because I got hooked on it when I was 3yrs old. So 63 yrs old and I'm 63 yrs old. It happens to be the best I've ever had and I've been around the world and I have sampled Italian food everywhere a round the United States and in Europe but something about Miceli's food I grew up eating there "Food" is because all those recipes came from my family. See I am the great nephew of " The late founder of Miceli's, "Mr. Carmen Miceli" my "Great Uncle" and my "Great Aunt " Millie and of course My Grandmother "Angie" are siblings along with there two brothers my Great Uncle's Tony(Anthony) and Sam, with there parents and let's not forget my Great Uncle "Rocky" came to a Southern California in the late1940's after the (World War Two) and (Korean Wars) and were coming to California to open a restaurant. You guessed it Miceli's in 1949 and "My MOM" was only 9 yrs old they indeed open the Restaurant in Hollywood,California. then some years later"I" became "a" Hot Idem in which I was born so make a long story short we used to eat all and I mean, all the time there and have family functions there and I and my sisters and other cousins would go and ŵork [helped] out and learned how to cook and learned now to prep the food at the famous " Kitchen"across from the world famous Hanna Barbera cartoon studio's and just across the Hollywood frwy and just down the hill from the "City walk" by the Sherton Hotel at the Universal Studio's but it was the "Commissary" for the 4 other restaurant's in the Hollywood, and surrounding areas. So us kids learned how to cook from the best. So Memory Lane tells a tall story. Not only because it's my Family Owned Restaurant, but many critics have Eaton there and posted "Great reviews" but over the years, there has been tens of thousands of customers who have Eaton there and they to have there own versions and great story's about there fine visited to one or so restaurants in the Los Angeles area year after year and again while visiting the L.A. area on yearly business. Thank you Miceli's for serving me Cousin Perry and all the other customers who have stopped by to eat and enjoy the show of Professional Opeŕa singers waiting to go to a show somewhere around the world on tour to perform on "Broadway" or a "Opera house" then they come home to Miceli's to wait for there next gig or show, but for the last70 plus year we the people or customers or even us "The Family" Thank you from the bottom of our heart's thanks for the Memorie's and Great times. Sincerely, your cousin Big Perry and "Die hardcustomers

Nice Italian vibe with even live piano music. Food average and expensive…hygiene is a problem…we found a living fly in the parmigianno.
Still had to pay almost 50 dollar tip as we were a party of 6.

In the heart of Hollywood, with the atmosphere of an old world movie you can not go wrong here. Attentive servers, good in-house wine, and good tasting food I highly recommend visiting here to have a real L.A. food and iconic restaurant experience. My wife and I had the fresh bread starter and fried mozzarella, which was perfectly made with a good flavor marinara. The old-school spaghetti and marinara sauce were delicious. My wife had the fresh made cream sauce with rigatoni, and it was also a great tasting dish. She let me try it. All around, we had a great culinary experience in an old Hollywood setting.

Wonderfully tasty pizza, garlic bread was buttery and delicious. Others in my party ordered the green salad and pasta, both of which we’re recommended.

We were a little hesitant to begin with due to the lack of comments as well as the lack of phone number but was happy overall. We felt that the pizza was average but the bruschetta was excellent. Several others things on the menu sounded great. Outside was a little shady but atmosphere inside was very nice. Would gladly recommend especially for the area and all the touristy food. Much more of a local feel.
