It was okay. Pretty basic bakery but it’s good and hits the spot. Tasted fresh and the coffee was good. I prefer indoor dining at this spot since the outdoor is a little noisy. Overall, I enjoy it
This place has one of the most unique avocado toast I’ve ever had! It’s got orange, and radish and pistachios and things you would usually not associate with an avocado toast and may have a hard time imagining how it’s all going to come together. But there’s a method to this madness. It somehow comes all together beautifully and creates a burst of flavors in your mouth. The orange adds freshness, pistachios add the crunch, radish breaks the monotony of the usual flavors and avocado simply gets to be the star of the dish. They do bake fresh breads there, so your toast is also going to be mouth-watering.It’s a bit expensive, but worth it in my humble opinion.
La Brea Bakery Cafe has a naturally gorgeous bakery look with its spacious indoor space, red brick walls and wooden tables. The pastry and breakfast menu is expansive. However, the croissant I got was one of the worst I had in LA. There are no layers, no flakes, the texture is very soft, more like a brioche. I was disappointed.
Super cozy place with awesome bakery and bread. We had breakfast from avo bruschettas and pesto pasta. I didn’t really like onions in my bruschettas but combination of avo and oranges was ?. And danishes with raspberries and apricots were really delicious. Also they have a free parking for an hour that’s quite enough for breakfast
Great food, their chicken sandwich from the brunch menu was amazing.
I have mixed feeling about this place bc 50% of the food we ordered was good, while the other 50% was meh. The brownie was very hard for some reasons. We had a hard time using a spoon to eat brownie. The coffee ice cream that came with it was good. The banana bread pudding was good, but it was a little too sweet imo. The cafe has a nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.
Wow everything about this restaurant was well executed. From the valet parking the moment we got there (which is reasonably priced; $8/hr, first hour is free!) to the food and the service! We ordered at the cashier and had a pleasant interaction. When we sat down, a server came around promptly with our drinks, then another person came by asking if we needed anything, then someone came with our food and then someone else came to check in after that. All very friendly interactions. And The food was spectacular! You can tell that they use very fresh products and take great care in how they prepare everything. Reasonably priced and with small outdoor patio. Will definitely be coming back again!
Great for a casual brunch/lunch. Large menu without being too intimidating. Simple yet pleasant outdoor seating. Overall nice experience, would visit again.

Came here for lunch with my friend as i’m originally from LA but have lived in Illinois for 9 years now got the pesto chicken sandwich I was hesitant as not many places make it good came in ciabatta bread and a side salad and also ordered the ginger lemonade it was fresh I can taste the bitterness and so refreshing the food was amazing so delicious melting mozzarella bread was fresh I forgot to say no arugula but that was easy to remove, my friend got the burger she loved it service was super nice and friendly will definetly come back to for sure get the same sandwich it was so yummy a bit pricey but it didnt bother me well worth it
The cinnamon latte is highly recommended, without excessive sweetness that some other lattes elsewhere would have. Aside from the drinks, we really enjoy the nice croissant and bread, friendly staff and warm vibes.
Great food, drinks and excellent customer service!
Avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich with two regular brew coffees came out to $48. Even though that's pretty standard for breakfast in LA these days, I would like for the breakfast to be worthy of the price. I didn't love the brew, and my avocado toast had a very whipped avocado, which kind of changed the taste. I didn't love that either. My friend loves the breakfast sandwich. It's delicious and filling. Last time I got a bagel from their bakery, which I thought would have been fresh, but it was stale and terrible. I do like that they have outdoor seating. I don't like that you can only valet your car and that the time limit is only 1 hour or you will be charged $8. Republique is next door, so I'll be trying that next time for sure.
One of my favorite breakfast spots in LA. It's conveniently located on LaBrea a mile south of Melrose. The food is always delicious and the fresh bread will always bring me back.
