La Catrina Cafe Reviews
The food was delicious! Excellent portion sizes for the price. We had the burrito and wrap. I also love that they have fresh natural juices are the most affordable prices I've seen!! Definitely...read full review
So happy I finally checked out this adorable little cafe! -I scoped out the menu beforehand & thought I would get a veggie wrap (they have vegetarian options, y'all!) & an energy juice... but... I was hungry! Almost HANGRY! So I went with La Catrina Breakfast ; & that includes 2 pancakes, eggs, & potatoes. Super yummy & satisfying ! My friends got a torta de asada (looked bomb! On my walk today I came across La Catrina Cafe, asmall restaurant in the old Movie Theater building on Whittier Blvd between Soto and Boyle. The woman working there invited me in to look at her food that she prepared for someone who was going to take pictures. Well it looked good enough to order a sandwich to go. A specialty of theirs: Torta a la Plancha de Milanesa de Res... $9.50 out the door. The sandwich was tasty and a good portion. The sauces are very good.
