Have been to Lula's a few times a year since I moved to Santa Monica. Tasty a la carte dishes, good daily happy hour menu. Have not stopped in for Taco Tuesdays. One drawback: mediocre cocktails. Cute festive decor and friendly staff.

The food was super delicious, everything was fresh from the rice to the beans. I have ate at several Mexican restaurants where the rice was made from previous days (you can always tell!) and beans are canned. The beans here are super delicious and flavorful, I can have that with fried tortilla chips and be good with just that. Customer service was alright, she was somewhat attentive. Place was pretty clean, decor was alright, not much to it. But the food is the show, that I can tell you! Definitely should try.

I recently dined at La Cocina and had an average experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming and comfortable, making for a pleasant dine-in setting. The service was commendable with attentive and friendly staff. However, the food itself was just okay. While the dishes were presented nicely, the flavors didn't quite hit the mark for me. They lacked the wow factor I was hoping for. It was a decent meal, but nothing stood out as particularly memorable. La Cocina might be a good option for those looking for a casual meal in a cozy setting.

The food has no flavor, the service is terrible, I went to the bathroom and the lady who was serving went to knock on my bathroom door and was upset and told me she was going to eat in the restaurant, I said yes and when I was looking at the menu she was standing there and I ordered my food. And when I paid, he only stared at me when I was eating. The lady went to check the bathroom and was going to lock the bathroom, but since a man was going to enter, he came back with the key. I will never eat in this restaurant again in my life, which is Terrible service. I'm not one of the people to give these ratings but this restaurant doesn't deserve even one star.

Was not familiar with the area, found La Cocina on Yelp. This restaurant is clean, food is delicious and the waitress was very polite. I will definitely come back to try more on the menu!

The best rojo (red) sauce I have found in a long time. Rich flavor. I had the chicken wet burrito. Fantastic. I can't wait to come back.Free parking, off street!

They don't speak English. When I called to order for pickup yhe girl hung up on me. I called back and asked do u speak English. She said no. And hung up again I went in anyway. Because I do like the food. I asked the girl when I got there if she spoke English. Again she said no. I told her I called and she hung uon me.thats bad service. I don't speak Spanish. I'm not any kind of latin Spanish speaking person. I let her know I didn't like that she hung up on me. And that it's bad service. And she's lucky I do like the food. But the service is terrible.

Soooo good! Me and my husband ordered chilaquiles, an asada taco and a pork tamale. My favorite was definitely the chilaquiles! They were so full of flavor and crunchy yet soft! Not like the soggy ones you get at other places. The tamale and taco were good but not the star of the show. Will definitely be back.

Sadly I was d*** enough to believe the amazing reviews but should've known better when the restaurant was empty during lunch rush. I paid over 20 for chicken enchiladas, and despite the reviews talking about its was worth it, It is not. Really bummed I spent so much on typical fast food Mexican.

good food, host/cashier/server (one person) was great and very helpful. it seems understaffed (1 cook + 1 cashier/host/server). place is clean.Parking: general parking, there's more small businesses in the plaza.Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs, big tables with movable chairs.

It was a little pricey for the amount of food you get. 3 traditional Mexican tacos, a couple spoons of pinto beans and rice. It cost $14.99 for chicken. The tacos were delicious and full of flavor though. Really amazing pico do gallo and the slice of lime just made it more tastier. Tapatío packets of hot sauce are plentiful for customers. This is not a fancy sit down restaurant. It's more a quick serve. Service was fast and definitely recommended.
