I had gotten my wisdom tooth pulled and I wanted some authentic soup. I found this place from TikTok. I had gotten some Fish soup for my mom and I and we loved it. It’s exactly what I wanted and needed. The fish and soup was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The people there were so nice. Definitely will come again soon maybe tomorrow 🤣. 10/10 would recommend!

It’s an amazing little place , we came to have lunch there, visiting from Florida.We ordered tacos, burrito , plate of liver stake and off curse the pupusas !Everything was delicious and fresh.The staff is so nice and welcoming , very homy and cozy atmosphere .The cheese pupusa is the bomb!Thank you! Very recommended , defiantly will come back.P.s. didn't take pictures of everything just the pupusa, we were hungry lol.

I have been coming here since I was 5 years old as I was born and raised in Mid City. The men and women of La Cocinita are fantastic and the food is amazing. To those saying otherwise, are most likely not used to authentic Mexican / Salvadoran food and their hipster taste buds were offended. La Cocinita has been around 30+ that alone speaks volumes.
