Great little bar with an awesome atmosphere. Only downside is that a lot of people smoke outside, and the place quickly fills up with cigarette smoke. That horrid smell is a turn-off. I enjoyed the evening which was a special event but I wouldn't return unless it was something I really wanted to see

Crazy Saturday night! It was due to our friend's birthday party. We got there around 6 pm and only one bartender. He was awesome, attentive and kept up with everyone's requests. Fun little place, would recommend more vodka options though.

I found this cute dive bar after looking for local drag. We came on their biweekly drag night and it's been a staple since. PIXIE DOT IS AMAZINGAlso they have bomb sliders certain nights.

The music is far too loud, this coming from someone who loves their music cranked high. I don't want to have to scream my order at the bartender. I feel sorry for all the neighbors nearby. I parked on the side street and could hear it loud and clear. Never again.

Solid little divey bar. I came here on a rainy night so it felt extra divey. The drinks are solid, they have daily drink specials. Bartender was cool and can make anything else you want. I came here on a Tuesday night and there were plenty of seats. They don't serve food here, but they were cool with letting me bring over some pizza from Triple Beam.

Solid Dive spot, great for dates and kick backs. There’s loud good music and a smoking patio. It’s sorta a hole in the wall which is hard to find in LA. I’ve gone here a lot and appreciate anyone with a solid happy hour. Theres like food pop ups and goth night ( probably) . The bartenders are good people and always deserve big tips. They work hard behind the bar and the crowd is a good mix. Crusty but not too crusty. It’s a legit hang and I think you will like it. Tell you friends to meet you there on a Friday or even a Saturday night and you will have a fun night out. Esp if you grab a pizza next door and make it a whole thing. Ask first but I’ve seen people bring in the triple beam pizza from next door. Last time I went for a friends birthday - I was offered a slice of sugar free kale cake- I turned it down because I wasn’t in the mood. I sat on the inside of the booth next to Chloe but I kinda got boxed in and ended up staying later than I had imagined. It was fun but I never even got up for a second drink. And then some one broke a glass and I decided it was time.

Haven't eaten here but you can take pizza in from Triple Beam next door. The service is good, the ambiance is moody and the drinks are inventive.

Had high hopes for this bar but the customer service really knocked some stars down for myself and friends. the location and space holds great potential for a well rounded wholesome experience from beginning to end, despite the lackluster service. Some precaution on the delivery of Cocktails , they were sweet: if that's not your thing ask for less simple syrup and chili/spice powder if you're not into spicy drinks, typically a cocktail is sipped on so your ice well dilute it to a good flavor, I did enjoy the recipe but would advice for chilled glasses and more ice during the shake and stir process. The rimmed chili glass was fine Just too heavy in the drink. Not sure if the bartender has to keep a music selection up to the bars standards but Sunday night's selection was metal and very much the Melvin's blasting, which we enjoyed paired nice with the strong cocktails. Ultimately the drinks, space and music was good. A second visit is possible for us, also the prices are typical highland park prices.

This spot was a nice surprise when we decided to kill some time before dinner with a drink. Not really a dive bar though it does smell like a "bar" (but me personally, I find that comforting). Feels a bit festive in there right now with the lights. Enough space to move. I love how it's dark-but-not-too-dark, the sort of energy that is perfect to catch up with a friend...or have a date...or chill alone. Very comforting in that sense. Shout out to the door guy from Chicago manning the door on Wednesday night who was truly so sweet to us- a coworker was visiting from Chicago and felt really welcomed. The bartender that night was also cool- he actually suggested we take advantage of their happy hour which runs late (until 8) before time was up. So we ordered $7 palomas with the lowest of expectations, come to find out both of us were surprised they were actually quite good, which now makes sense thinking back to how we saw from the corner of our eyes that he was preparing these in a very 'non-happy hour' way (vs. those bartenders that just dump well liquor into a glass, give a hard spray of mixer, then rudely push the drink to you whenever the drinks are cheap). Wished we could have stayed for more than one.
