The servers were nice & courteous. The food & drinks were tasty. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not well kept.

Absolutely tragic to lose La Fuente and be left with this mess. The old paintings on the wall are just painted over with blotched of white paint, the place is a mess and the silverware is dirty. They’re out of beers and menu items and didn’t bring chips and salsa (which I had to ask for) till after my salad arrived. The beans and rice tasted like dirt, there were bats and flys circling everywhere and my server was barely there and seemed clueless when present. Avoid at all costs!

We arrived at 1:10pm on a Friday and it was mostly empty. The server took his time getting to us and didn't really answer any of our questions. Soon after we ordered, a few more tables arrived. Those tables were served their drinks right away while we had nothing. After 40 minutes of waiting we got up and asked the server where our drinks were and he didn't even acknowledge us!

We left. It's so sad because we loved the other location. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

I can't complain about the service. Please go into this review knowing that the servers are some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever dealt with.
Having said that, I was charged over 16% in sales tax wheni went in just for a drink. I didn't notice until later when I was consolidating my receipts from my trip. I wish I had the receipt for the food to see if I was overcharged there, too... but I lost it!
With the change of ownership from the previous and long-standing family restaurant of La Fuente, some things are not as good. The chips and salsa used to be free, plentiful, and the salsa was good! Now, you have to pay for chips and salsa. You get only a little bit, and they just aren't as good. Some may not agree, but I think chips and salsa should always be served free when at a Mexican restaurant. In addition, the beans are not the same. They're pretty mediocre compared to what they used to be.
The albondigas and my fiancé's machaca burrito were good, so not everything was terrible.

I got their chicken fajitas and 2 of their tacos. The chicken fajitas plate was very tasty and flavorful. The lengua and asada tacos were juicy and great. I would definitely give this place a shot! Very tasty food and kind staff.

This restaurant is under new ownership and the food is not the same. Red cheese enchilada tasted bland and tasted like they might have used government cheese. The beans weren't good and the salsa was okay. The lettuce on the tacos was iceberg which is not the lettuce previously used. The presentation looked sloppy. I probably won't be going here for a while.

I am disabled and order from here regularly. Majority of the time the food, salsas, soups and chips are tasty and fresh. Lately the smokey red salsa has a different old cheap taste. Also, since I'm criticizing, I would usually recommend the cosido, today it was like old leftovers with extra cabbage. This establishment should be honest with their customers and let them know if something is almost gone and not serve garbage to get the full price.
