After trying so many different places to find the best tamales, I am choosing this place because the masa is perfect and the big chunks of meat, these are big tamales, they taste how a tamale should taste, I am giving this place 5 stars because everything about that tamale was the best, the sauce the meat is in was delicious, the masa is not dry and not watery, the meat is juicy.

The food is not the same as before and the prices are much higher, the service takes longer than it should.
I've been coming here since I was a child. My favorite items to order are the tamales rajas, chicharrones en salsa verde, and the menudo. And during cuaresma (lent), I love the capirotada and shrimp patties. However, the service is not always up to par. Certain ladies who work there are too busy chismiando, rather than paying attention to the customers ordering. Unfortunately, because of this FACT, they have gotten my order wrong. The food is excellent, but the customer service requires improvement!

The prices and portions here are ridiculous. Ive been coming here for years but I refuse to pay $20 for a bowl of menudo. Another plate with two eggs and a smudge of rice and beans for $18. Two eggs on the side were $8. RIDICULOUS
