One of the best places to get amazing coffee in Boyle heights I know there’s 12 locations but this is my favorite monarca, the staff is the best! Everyone is so friendly and everything comes out fast. Everyone working here is professional and knowledgeable about their product and coffee and they always give you samples.

First off, I wish they had more Monarcas closer to me. Preferably in every corner! Their croissants are my favorites. You can’t go wrong with their coffee of course (Cafe Del Carmen) to be precise! Thank you to Karen who always goes above and beyond to greet me and my kids as we walk in. Pleasant atmosphere with the best customer service! Thank you Boyle Heights La Monarca Bakery!!

Love coming here! The barista Lucrecia is amazing! She always gets my drinks right🙌🏻 Beverages are always tasty! She is very helpful when you are not sure which substitutions work best for a specific drink. Will be returning back to this location more often!

I first learned of this place through picking up for DoorDash. Then ironically ended up moving not too far from it. I love it and I think its so cute. I haven't explored the menu much since I've been on decaf coffee and have only been getting my cup of decaf every morning which is pretty good for decaf. Today I sampled the Rosca de Reyes bread and my oh my how lovely and light yet sweet it was. At first I was thinking they're a little pricey but then I thought about other places like Starbucks and Tierra Mia and when you compare them it makes sense...I mean why not? The only thing it was missing was music...maybe some soft cafe music would be great.

Anyway, I love this little place and so far I've experienced nothing but great, welcoming and polite customer service. The ladies always seem to be very pleasant. I will be returning to try another treat and that Horchata Latte. All blessings! xoxo

Three ladies made my drink and food. The drink was really good and the way I asked for it. However, I ordered the breakfast burrito That comes with chipotle, and They forgot to add the chipotle plus the egg was a little wet.

Their WiFi is always down. Bad place to get work done and I placed an order online and when I went to pick up they said they never got it even if I was charged. I had to show my receipt and wait for them to make it when I was expecting to just pick it up. They made me late for my event.
