We loved this bakery spot. My girlfriend loved the Trenza pastries. I loved the Horchata Concha the best. It was moist upon eating even without heating it up the next day. The Horchata Matcha Concha was a little dry.
They were kind enough to heat up 2 of our pastries even though we ordered them to-go. Friendly staff.

Horchata Matcha Concha: 3.5/5 (great taste, a little dry)
Trenza (corn rajas and cheese): 4.5/5
Horchata Concha: 4.5/5 (moist, sweet, smooth flavor)

Mostly good. Pretty consistent coffee, and I like the food. Today though, I tried ordering a few different drinks and they were out of a bunch of ingredients. No caramel or horchata I can understand, but no milk?

I wasn’t sure about having pan dulce and coffee here because it’s hard to find a place that has good pan dulce that is authentic. This place has some really good pan dulce though! I was really impressed by the freshness and softness of the bread. The conchas were pillowy and delicious. I also had the churro croissant and it was soooo good! The cinnamon on the croissant isn’t powdered cinnamon which really enhances the flavor. It was also pillowy soft unlike some of the other coffee stands that have hard croissants that are not fresh. The coffee was good too! I had the tres leches coffee and it was perfect. I was really pleased to have visited this spot. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll be sure to stop again. Staff were friendly despite the reviews that say otherwise.

Plain and simple DELICIOUS 😋!!! We came from Austin Tx to try this place everything was on point. Cant wait to show my pics of this place back in Austin.

Monarca Bakery is both overpriced and overrated. We purchased a cake they claimed was freshly made, but the first bite revealed otherwise—the milk tasted spoiled, and there was an odd odor. I can't believe they sold us a cake past its prime. It was easily the worst cake I've ever had: essentially three pieces of bread slathered with plastic-tasting frosting, all for $38.00. Absolutely appalling, and to make matters worse, the staff were incredibly rude. Save your money, everyone. This is hands down the worst spot for a birthday cake or even a cup of coffee.
