One of my favorite places to get food and a pastry in the morning. The pan dulce is always fresh and they have a great variety. I loved the individual roscas they had for Dia de los Reyes. Their matcha horchata series is SO YUMMY. Lety is always so nice and makes wonderful drinks. Definitely recommend.

This place has the best pastries and sweets! Everything is always fresh and delicious. My son absolutely loves coming here — it’s one of his favorite spots. The staff is friendly, and the quality never disappoints. Highly recommended!

This is a review for the online order process only.
Last weekend I ordered a gift to be sent. After I checked out it offered a different product which I thought I would buy for myself. to be shipped to me instead of th the giftee. It didn't work. La monarca just sent it to the giftee along with the original. There was no way to cancel the order. They state they don't process over the weekend, so I sent an email. Monday morning I get an emails that a shipping label has been issued. after I finally got a reply, it was that a shipping label had been created and I was out of luck. I can't ask my client to send part of the gift back, now can I? BE CAREFUL

I love coming here ! Always get my self some bread and coffee. But, today I bought 2 cafe de olla coffee and they both didn’t have flavor it was just water. Please keep in mind that people are leaving there money there for a good coffee not just for water flavor coffee.

We loved this bakery spot. My girlfriend loved the Trenza pastries. I loved the Horchata Concha the best. It was moist upon eating even without heating it up the next day. The Horchata Matcha Concha was a little dry.
They were kind enough to heat up 2 of our pastries even though we ordered them to-go. Friendly staff.

Horchata Matcha Concha: 3.5/5 (great taste, a little dry)
Trenza (corn rajas and cheese): 4.5/5
Horchata Concha: 4.5/5 (moist, sweet, smooth flavor)
