When I order pasta, I expect it to be al dente. That's what happened here. I wanted to enjoy the taste longer, so I ate slower. It was worth spending time in this atmospheric restaurant with very nice service.Wheelchair accessibility: If not inside, there is definitely space for people in wheelchairs outside.

Where do I even start!PART 1: We were greeted by the extremely rude and unfriendly looking hostess (she looked like she was forced to work here). We were seated outdoors w a lovely fountain view and asked for waitress to bring the dessert/drinks menu.. she said "oh you all cannot sit outdoors if you're just ordering dessert+ drinks, you must sit at the bar" We ordered a cheese pizza just to remain seated there (pizza was meh, nothing impressive or good tasting)PART 2: I've realized they don't have blended coffee so I went to grab my fav coffee from Nordstrom ebar. I got back, was about to take a seat and join my friends and heard someone (their supervisor) telling me "sir you cannot bring outside food to our restaurant" and before I even got to respond, he continued "you can place your drink over there (pointing outside) or enjoy it outside. That's when I flipped!!! I understand and respect restaurant policies HOWEVER, that is not a good way to treat a customer that is already seated, spending money w guests at your restaurant. So I said " you're basically kicking me out of here!" And he kept saying sorry sorry sorry... That got me even more frustrated and I asked "why can't I just leave my drink here on the table and not drink it" and he said that he's fine w that. Like REALLY? This is so unprofessional and careless.Honestly I do feel bad writing this review because I'm sure it will hurt their business but considering how poor our experience was earlier today. I can care less. I do not want YOU to have similar experience!

They failed to properly validate my parking ticket and I ended up still having to pay the full parking price of 23 dollars for parking after a 200 dollar meal.

Tasteless food and poor service. Will not dine here again.

Gutsy Trails Adventure (GTA)

A nice restaurant in the heart of the Grove. We were seated right away and sat outside opposite to the 189 restuarant. It is a much more quiet ambience outside compared to the busy inside (naturally), and I recommend getting a table outside.. The quality of the courses we were served varied slightly, but the capricciosa pizza was extremely good. With ruccola salad and slices of Parmaggiano on top, a really crusty dough and a super taste it was a pleasant experience!

The quality of the food is terrible. Pizza is comparable in taste to the cheapest pizza from walmart, only it costs 3 times as much. Lasagna was like a slug with unpalatable cheese. The mashed potatoes had big lumps in them. I am very disappointed with my time spent here. This restaurant is on par with food panda.I hope people will realize the inferiority of this place

They have suggested they are kid friendly however there is no kids menu for kids to look at. Sodas are from the bar and priced at bar prices and the meatballs in the spaghetti which should be just plain spaghetti were so spicy even my husband didn’t like them. And what restaurant in California doesn’t carry ranch dressing especially when offering pizza. Might be better for just a date night.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. No kid menus, nothing to draw or color in, spaghetti meatball was super spicy, no ranch dressing. This is all fine but don’t advertise that you are kid friendly.

Not the dinning experience we expected from a restaurant in the Grove. The General Manager was very combative and ready to defend his restaurant regarding every feedback that we provided regarding the experience. We asked to speak with him because our order was not delivered in a timely manner. When we addressed it, he said before I came to speak with you I checked the POS system and talked to my kitchen and it took only 13 minutes. It’s a shame to have such a beautiful restaurant ran by someone that is simply out of touch with what hospitality stands for.The waiter complained to our table the entire time on how management is not very helpful.I would recommend other restaurants in the area for the money you’re going to spend.

We went in for dinner on a Saturday. Glad that we were given a table despite not having a reservation. Average food and below average service. The person taking our order was quite distracted. We had to ask twice to get a glass of water (it looked like our table was forgotten the first time) Three stars just for the ambience.

My daughter who is 16 went there with 7 more of her friends to celebrate her birthday. They were treated by their waiter and in general in a rude and dismissive manner.I would not recommend this place not for the food, service or atmosphere. This is the hospitality industry, and they are seriously lacking in it!

I felt that my dinner (chicken) was frozen and microwaved from the box in a disproportionally small plate. It was like I had dinner in an extremely expensive poor quality fast food place. They had only one choice white wine by the glass. Our waiter was nice but all the rest unfortunately was bad.The beer was served in cognac glasses that was another surprise!I use to have dinners and lunches there, before the movies, but this time was the worst ever!Never againParking: Very expensive parking if you go to dinner and movies which is more than two hours both validations are canceled and the parking payment is full amount
