I tried out Playita Mariscos for lunch. I've been driving by for a long time. It is owned by the Guisados people so I expected the food to be good. I ordered the Campechana Mixta. The cold tomato broth was fantastic. I really like the raw shrimp, crab and fish. The Octopus was a little tough for my taste. They have a parking lot, which on Sunset, is a plus.

Love the Aguachile and Ceviche. Nice chill outdoor spot to grab a casual bite. Reasonably priced.

Their shrimp tacos are light with the shrimp portion, and are compensated with light potatoes. Their food is good but needs a bit more flavor tweaking per preference. I only come here because it’s conveniently close.Parking: There’s about 10 parking spaces, but it’s narrow and then difficult to enter and exit the premises due to the sunset drivers in the area.

The tacos were extra bomb today - but the quesadilla blew me away. I didn’t realize we could ask for salsa and that was a great

fish was crispy and fresh, pretty mild flavors though, could have more flavor tbh but i went back to ask for extra habanero salsa on the side which helped.pretty clean eating area and there’s a small parking lot in the back

Casual walk up window where you can order amazing seafood tacos and tostadas. The food is great.
This might be the best fish taco in la, super crispy and great flavor. Don’t need to add anything. Beware of aguachiles, it’s super spicy but so much flavor.

Honestly been to alot of Mariscos places and to me this has been the most commercial seafood joint I have ate at. No flavor just ketchup. First and last time. Nothing authentic here especially in Los Angeles. Hit them mariscos trucks instead.

This place is the #1 thing I miss about living in Los Angeles. Pro tip, buy 2 fish tacos, they each come with 2 tortillas. Leave the outer tortilla on your plate. The tacos are so generously stuffed that enough will fall out on your empty tortilla to make another taco!

Fish taco was alright- the fish to taco ratio was off and overall under flavored. Tostada mixto needed more lime. Fast service though and enough outdoor shaded seating when we went on a early evening on a weekday. They have their personal parking lot with enough parking which is a gem in silver lake!
Top notch fish tacos.
