It’s sort of a hidden location, that I stumbled upon. The food is fresh and consistent. The staff do a good job of keeping the salsa bar clean and replenished. The decor feels like a 80s shopping mall. They could use some background music to liven up the place. Mostly office workers patronize the establishment…so you might run into Bob from accounting, or Sheryl from HR.
I felt good. The food is good, fast and tasty.

A small but very clean place, friendly staff and freshly prepared food, a delicious dish, with good flavor (with a little extra salt that I liked, why I eat simple). The price was super good, you could really say that the price is cheap because the dish was big, if it were a question of giving ⭐for price I would give it 9⭐, I was amazed by the prices, it is cheaper than the common places, which helps a lot with the pocket. You can eat inside and outside, apart from the fact that outside is super clean, well conditioned, a very quiet, relaxing place with a beautiful view, I recommend it 100/%.
Hair on my fish taco. Had to return it. Haven’t been to a La Salsa since their peak in 2002 , and won’t need to return.
I had not been here almost two years. The only thing I have tried is the chicken tortilla soup, but it is so good! It's filling and there's a lot of chicken in it. I ordered some today and they gave me my soup, tortilla strips separate, chips and three salsas! All for less than $7. I can't think of one place where the chicken tortilla soup tastes like this.

Took family for lunch from across the Westin Bonaventure (where food was frightfully expensive BUT of poor quality) The staff at La Salsa was friendly and offered a sampling of the salsa (mexican food is ALL about the salsa). Tried one and that was enough to proceed with the order... They have different salsas as their name would suggest. The vegetarian burrito was sumptuous and reasonably priced. The salsas tasted authentic and the staff was friendly. What more can one ask? The only problem was they closed at 2 PM and are NOT open during the weekends apparently... Will be back!!
There is always a line, but the super shrimp burrito is worth it.The line may appear long, but it moves relatively fast! I always go with the shrimp super burrito and it has never disappointed. They give you free chips to go along with their salsa bar. The burrito is very filling and it always satisfies my burrito fix.
Great food, low prices, excellent employees. This place is fantastic for a quick meal, even when it's busy. It's part of a small food court area on the corner of 5th St and Figueroa (maps might show it in the middle of a skyscraper, it's not)
A fav spot for tasty Tacos. Certainly a top place in the area. Service is typically above par. Ambience is similar to Fresno's scene.
My fav place for tasty Tacos. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. Prices were good for how much you get. Atmosphere is similar to a cafe in San Jose I loved.
