This is one of my favorite mom-and-pop restaurants, offering simple and nostalgic vibes. I’ve been coming here from TX for the past five years; it’s been always my go-to spot when I’m in town. Owners’ warm hospitality never fails to make me feel at home.

Sweet shrimp is typically available from February depending on availability. Their sea urchin rice and kimchi are truly exceptional.

They added an English menu and charmingly designed illustrations not too long ago as shown below. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is definitely legit when it comes to fresh live fish — super fresh, no doubt about it!

Not too many side dishes (banchan) though.
Alcohol isn’t served, so you’ll need to buy it from the liquor store next door.

The bathroom… yikes. Definitely needs improvement.

Overall, it’s the kind of spot where people either love it or hate it — strong mixed opinions depending on what you’re looking for.

1. They don't have Apple pay.
2. The dipping sauce went bad.
3. the price has risen too much
4. The store is not clean.
5. Food is provided in a variety.
6. The spicy stew does not have a deep flavor.

Talk about a "hole in the wall." I have passed by this place many times but never thought to actually eat here. My husband and I finally decided to try somewhere new for sashimi, so we ate dinner here on a Friday night.

As soon as you walk in, you can see a tank of fresh fish. There are about six tables in the restaurant.

The menu doesn't explain what comes with each combo, so we had to ask. The lady seemed annoyed that we couldn't decide what to order right there on the spot.

We ended up ordering combo A, and it was definitely more than enough for the two of us. It's BYOB, but there's a liquor store in the same plaza that sells Korean alcohol.

Unfortunately, the parking lot is very small for the number of stores in the plaza. Make sure to get there before the dinner rush around 6.

Parking: Parking is very difficult to find, especially during dinner time.

Owner are so rude.. so unfriendly.. the man who cooks the raw fish seems like he is full of great dissatisfaction with the world.

I love raw fish so much that I've been to all the raw fish restaurants in LA to eat sashimi, but the japchae here is so impressive!!
This is a really good sashimi restaurant ?? Actually, I was a little worried when I saw the atmosphere of the restaurant, but the freshness and taste paid off.
It's a nice store? It looks like the owner's wife is building it all up.
You are so kind!!! Why is flounder so chewy!!
Uni Bibimbap!! Spicy spicy nurungji Sea squirt is also fragrant
The oysters are like Korean oysters!! It's truly the best!
I plan to visit again soon ?????

In Koreatown, except for sushi, this place is the most delicious. The delivery is also fast. But the price... If you add something to the cow size of $129, $200 just comes out. for the priceThe side dishes are seriously lacking.Recommended for those who only eat sashimi.

Their speciality is the halibut sashimi -- super fresh and with amazing texture. It's also a lot, so bring friends! The sides and other seafood was okay.

First of all, sashimi and food are so delicious. However, there are not many seats, so you have to go early. They don't take reservations well, but if you do, make sure to arrive on time. The two of them work so the turnover is slow, but they are still neat and friendly. The taste is the same as Korean taste.
